|65| I'm Tired

"I don't know what you mean," Anna tells her, "I was just trying to cheer for our friend," Anna says with the fakest smile that made Ena want to beat the living shit out of her but Iwaizumi stops her from getting up from her seat.

Ena takes a deep breath and calms herself down.

"Guys," Matsukawa says, "Next week is the cultural festival. (Name) is participating in many events. If she's hurt..." Toru is staring to get worried.

"She'll be fine," Kunimi comments as he yawns, "Senpai received worst than this. Jia-Li even said that Senpai is like immortal or something and plus..." Kunimi looks at Iwaizumi, "If she's able to punch Iwaizumi-Senpai without breaking a sweat, she'll be find with a volleyball hitting her shoulder," he says as he leans his head on Kindaichi's shoulder as he's tired and wants to sleep.

Kindaichi seems a little unbothered by this as he's use to it but he's also nervous and a little shy as he has feelings for his friend but won't say anything as he believes that it's one-sided. "He's right," Kindaichi says in agreement, "Jia-Li has talked about Senpai as I was curious as Senpai doesn't seem like the strong type but Jia-Li said that Snap is crazy scary when angry and can get very violent if you're on her bad side but when it comes to injuries, it just comes and goes. It's like she's completely immortal," Kindaichi tells them which does make them feel a little better.

However, it would have been nice to heard it from Jia-Li herself but the thing is that she's at work and Mark is at a chess tournament. So neither of them can make any comments or explain anything.

"Yeah, (Name) is strong," Toru says as he looks at you talking to your teammates as if you're completely fine but when the ref blows the whistle to let both teams know that it's time to continue to match. Toru sees you make a painful expression when the girls weren't looking at you. And when they looked at you, you force a smile and encourage them, "But she's still human," Toru says as he still can't understand how you can hide your pain that easily.

But then again, he can understand as he's the same when it comes to his knee.

You told the girls your ideas but before, you asked them if they wanted revenge and even play a little dirty. They were a little confuse until you told them about the girl on the other team and how she was purposely aiming your shoulder to injure you. You gave them ideas to hurt and destroy them completely and that's when they understood the nickname that was given to you for volleyball.

The Devil's Angel.

"(Name), I don't---" 

"Alex, you can," you tell her with a kind smile as you can see how nervous she is, "Remember everything I taught you during practice," you tell her but she still looks unsure in herself, "Alex, just take a deep breath. Block out all noises around you and focus. You have eight second to do your serve. I have showed you all serves to the point on when and how to serve them. Focus on the ball, your hand and where you want it to go," you tell her but her hands start shaking.

"What if I fail?" Alex ask nervously.

"Then you fail," you tell her with a soothe voice. She looks scared about failing and you can understand why. You're like that. You alway worry about the what ifs. Especially when it comes to the chances that you may fail. You're scared of disappointing others when though you try to tell yourself you shouldn't be but the fear will alway be there as you can't help it but want to make everyone proud.

Alex is the same in some sort of way and so, you are going to tell her what you have alway wanted someone to tell you.

"There's nothing wrong with failing, Alex," you tell her with a bright smile, "It's a part of learning and let's not forget this is the first set. If we lose it then let's get it back in the second set and win it in the third," you encourage, "Alex, you'll have more chances to serves. Everyone fails at something, Alex. No one is perfect but at least you can say you tried and that's what matters so," you gently reach former chin so that she'll face forward and keep her head up, "Don't be afraid of failing but be afraid of not trying so go out there and be awesome. There's alway room for improvement so go and try, Alex," you tell her and she felt like crying.
