2. Never Have I Ever...Been In a Relationship.

"Nah man. I'm tryna hang with Devi after school today." I replied while patting his shoulder. "Wait, so are you with Crazy Devi again?" I nodded but look at him sternly. "Stop calling her Crazy Devi, her names Devi."

"Damn bro. Fine. I'll call her Lil' D like how you do." Right when I was about to tell him no to that nickname as well, I just huff out a sigh before nodding my head to that. Although that's my nickname for her, I rather have Trent call her that than Crazy Devi.

We came to class right on time and as I prepare my classwork, I'm already excited to see Devi during break. It's crazy how much she means to me. The girl who befriended me a few months ago to have sex. The girl who cheated on me with Ben Gross. The girl who always have problems. But she's also the girl who's friendly. Who has helped me through school. Pushed me to be the best. Always great to talk with and laugh together. The girl who has never thought anything negative about me.

I reached down to my backpack to grab my calculator and saw the small, blue box with a cute ribbon on top. I'll give this to her later tonight. I smiled and went back to focusing in class.

Finally after a whole day of school, we're done. Even though Devi has helped me with school and enjoy it a little bit more than before, I still don't like school. Earlier during lunch break, Devi and I agreed to meeting at the front school after school so I try to quickly leave the school building.

As I walk through the hallways, I see my girl at the lockers with Eleanor and Fabiola, laughing. She looks so pretty when she's happy. I start to walk towards them but I noticed something at the side of my eye.

Ben Gross is looking at Devi while having Aneesa by his side. Does he still like her even with a girlfriend? What is wrong with this guy? I scoff, confidently walking past him towards Devi. Yeah, Ben is handsome, rich, and smart in school. But I'm Devi's boyfriend, there's no need to feel threaten.

As I walk past him, I can feel his eyes bee-lining from behind. But I brush it off and show a big smile to Devi, who's been looking at me. "Hey babe." I call out, immediately grabbing her hands. It feels so natural that I'm holding her hands.

"Hey." I look at Eleanor and Fabiola, then back at her. "So, what's up?"

"Nothing. We were just talking about girl things...you know." My face turn confused as I look at all their reactions, agreeing awkwardly. "Oh, well, are you ready to go?"

Devi looks at me and nods. She bid her goodbyes to her friends before we leave the school together and enter my car to head to my house.

Devi's POV :

As we're on the way back to his place, I couldn't stop thinking about what I was talking about with Eleanor and Fabiola. While they're very happy for me and Paxton, they've been noticing that Ben was technically watching me the whole day. It's disturbing but at the same time, I'm curious. Does he still like me? No way.

"So, what did you wanna do today?" Paxton questions me while he's paying attention to the road...with his other hand on my thigh.

"What do you mean?" I question him back with my eyes squinted and I smile. He looks at me with his dreamy eyes. "Did you wanna eat? Are you craving anything? Or should we play games? Watch a movie?"

I laugh, "Paxton, just because I'm your girlfriend now, doesn't mean we don't study anymore." I hear Paxton do a small groan, "Damn Devi, I was just wondering if you're craving anything to eat before we start on schoolwork."

"Oh so you're just going to completely ignore the part where you ask about games and movies?" We both throw out a small chuckle. "I'm not really craving anything, are you?"

As Paxton brakes on a red light, he looks at me, "I'm craving you." His hand grips on my thigh a bit tighter, giving me butterflies. He pulls in closer towards me, initiating a kiss but I only give him a peck before pushing him back to his side.

"Come on Devi, do you not miss me?" I look at him who's pouting. "Pizza."

Paxton looks at me confused, "What?"

"Let's get some pizza before heading to your place."

Paxton scoff in a silly way before turning right, heading to the closest pizza place near us. I smile and place my hand on top of his. I knew relationships were great, but I never thought it was this awesome.

After we ate the pizza, we decided to take a small break on the couch. "I'm so full."

"Me too."

We look at each other, both of us being laid back on the couch. "Is Trent going to come over?"

"No not today." He places his hand on my thigh again as I just nod.

I try to ignore the fact that he's touching me by looking at everything in this room but him. I feel his other pair of hands on my waist. I look at him who's just staring at me, "What? Do I have tomato sauce on my lips?"

"Yeah, you do. Let me help you." I thought Paxton was going to grab a napkin and wipe it for me but he instead pressed his lips onto mine. Naturally, I place both my hands on his shoulders as he gently lifts me to be on his laps.

While his hands are both placed near my hips, I slowly brush my hands onto his curly soft hair. Being this close to Paxton, I can simply smell his scent. The scent of ocean breeze, with a mix of watermelon. Even though it's probably his shampoo and laundry detergent, it smells like home to me.

Paxton slowly leans towards the left, resulting with him laying on the couch while I'm still on top of him. I place my hands on his chest as he continues to kiss me softly like I'm delicate.

We both breath out for fresh air, looking at each other happily. "There ya go, no more tomato sauce on your lips." I chuckle and continue to look at him, "Should we start on homework now?"

Paxton pouts at me, "I want more kisses first."

"But Paxton, we have to.."

"I have a gift for you."

Before I could say anything else or even ask about the gift, he leans towards me for another kiss moment. It's impossible to say no to Paxton for me so I just give in.
