xv. Lightbringer and Endeavor pt. I

Start from the beginning

Endeavor opened his mouth to speak once more, but was immediately interrupted by one of his sidekicks banging on his door.

"Endeavor, we have an emergency!" The sidekick proclaimed from behind the locked door. "We have someone turning everyone in the city into children!"

The man's eyes narrowed. "Alright, I'll take care of it!" His voice bellowed, the man immediately preparing to leave. "You're a grown woman, you can come with me or stay here, the choice is yours." He busted out of the room and went to the rescue.

[L/n] debated for a moment, but ultimately decided to go with the man, just in case something, or someone, else were to pop up.

As the two Pro Heroes arrived at the scene, they both seemed to know what roles they needed to play, despite not talking about it. Lightbringer began to grab the children and take them to safety while Endeavor began to fight the villain. Unfortunately for the hero, he had to spend the mass of his time dodging the villains attacks, as to not be turned into a child.

Lightbringer was relieved to only have to take four kids to safety, glad that only four people had been hit by the villains Quirk. She noticed the man's struggles, unable to get a single hit on the individual who was getting way too close to turning him into a child way too many times.

News crews were all over the scene, people watching from their tvs as the Pro Hero Lightbringer had brought the children and civilians to safety while Endeavor was struggling to take down the villain himself.

Endeavor found himself stuck between a rock and a hard place, cornered with nowhere to go and absolutely no way of avoiding the villains Quirk. In that one moment, though he'd never admit it, he accepted his fate.

That was, until a certain [h/c] haired individual wheeled her way between the two, wrapping her arms around the fellow Pro Hero, taking the hit.

Enji Todoroki's eyes widened, feeling the woman's arms begin to shrink against his own skin, watch as her head that was against his chest begin to shrinken and lower.

He immediately wrapped his arms around the individual to prevent her from hitting the ground, and as he dreadfully looked down, he felt his heart tighten.

There was [F/n] [L/n], shrunk within her own hero costume, and a young child.

"Oh my god." The man's eyes flashed towards the villains, the villain who now saw a different kind of rage and anger.

It's funny how quick and easy it is to take someone down when it becomes personal. In a matter of seconds, Endeavor had taken down the villain and the civilians felt relief.

Turning around, he went and picked up the child he had sat down.

"Do you know who I am?" He asked, unsure whether her memories had changed or if it was just her body. That theory soon failed however, as he recalled that the two of them had known each other since her Quirk developed.

"O' cou'se I do! You're Emji Todowoki!" Her higher voice threw him off a bit, but considering she was now a child, it shouldn't have.

"Okay. Do you know what your Quirk is?" He watched as her face fell, the girl becoming saddened. Rather than answering vocally, she merely nodded.

He may not have been the best father, but he did know how to take care of children, considering he had quite a few of his own. Only then did he also realize that there were still cameras on them. Really? The villain's taken care of. Now is not the time to be recording.

The older Todoroki kept the young child in his arms and began to walk away. While he'd typically stay to help clean up and possibly answer questions, he had a child to deal with.
