Chapter 8 : A new beginning.

Ink stays silent for a bit.

Ink : Only if Error and I make a soulbond, linking our life together. Like that, you won't try to get rid of me anymore~

Error glares at him, while we all stare at the black boned skeleton.

Corrupted : Come on, Error, it will be easier. Don't you want some vacations ?~

Error groans.

Error : Fine ! I will make that deal, once you absorb that damn soul.

Ink nods and everyone steps away to let him take the soul in. Killer presses a button and the tube opens.

Ink takes the soul in and take a few steps back. Killer gets behind him to put his hand on his back.

Killer : You are feeling good ?

Ink : ... A bit of a headache... I feel like my head is splitting apart... Can I lie down...?

Killer : Of course...

He teleports with Ink and Dust guides us and finds where they were.

Nightmare : How did you...

Dust : Well, I know the lab pretty well, since I know the one of my timeline.

Ink is lying on the bed. It seems like he is having a major headache.

Killer : Do you want me to get you anything ?

Ink : ... I will... take care of that...

He takes his phone and composes a number, while closing his eyes.

Ink : Yeah ? Sorry, Dad... I need you... could you come ? ... I am in Killer's Timeline... in the lab... ... Hm, thank... Sorry...

He send a text quickly and a portal opens to let a Gaster in. He rushes toward Ink.

Ink : Hey... Guys, this is my Dad, Undertop Gaster... you can call him Torian.

Torian : Rather than introducing me, what is wrong ? I never saw you so bad.

Ink sits up and hugs him. He kinda acts like a kid that needs comfort right now.

Torian : ... What happened, my little Inkling ? Can you tell ?

Ink gives us a look saying we should step out.

Which we do, but Error opens a window so we can spy.

Ink : ... I took in a soul...

Torian : But why... Oh... So, there was a reason why you were soulless...

Ink nods.

Ink : It seems... when I was... an In-code... I ripped it... apart...

His dad freezes and hugs him more tightly.

Ink : ... I am not going to do it... I don't have a reason... I am not trapped in there anymore...

He has a weak smile.

Ink : I just... I felt lonely... and my head hurts... and I... I just wanted to see you...

Torian : ... Ink, don't apologise for needing support. That's what a parent should give you, especially when you need it.

He is rubbing Ink's back. A portal opens with Core Frisk and another Sans, who wears a fox mask.

Ink : Hey, Gin... Sorry for asking, Core...

Core : This isn't a problem. And you really seem unwell.

Gin comes next to them and Ink leaves his Dad's arms to go in his instead.

Torian : So, you are Gin~ Inkling talk a lot about you.

Ink blushes slightly.

Ink : Dad, this isn't the time...

Gin : Are you feeling alright ? I felt something was wrong with our soulbond.

Ink : I called you because I knew you would worry...

Gin : Of course I would.

Meanwhile...

Killer : So, Ink had a boyfriend. Didn't know this one.

Core : Yes he does. They are cute together too. Though Gin hates Error, like most people of the Omega timeline.

Everyone looks at Error who turns away. He closes the window and Killer gets food for everyone so we can eat and ask him how he has been doing, while allowing him to catch up.

He also put on Corrupted's necklace, who is staying in such way this look like he is hugging him.

Once Ink feels better, he comes in the room, holding hands with Gin.

Ink and Error makes a deal sealed by their soulbond, thoug Gin glares daggers at Error during the whole process.

Nightmare : Are you... coming back now, Killer ?

I end the book here. Not because I don't have anymore ideas, but because I prefer leaving you imagine how it goes.

Here are some points that are maybe unclear in the book :

_The one Killer said he promised he would let him kill him, is Dust. But, He would only let Dust do, once he finished everything.

_If Killer put on Corrupted's necklace, this is both because he is immune to the aura, unlike Cross, and Because Corrupted gave the necklace to Killer, long ago.

_When Killer said the lab exploded a few time, it was an understatement. This is why it took years to complete, though, being in is AU and having the resest happening from time to time, he ended up not aging like the other did.
