I feel light. My body feels so much light-hearted. Oh, Is that coffee I smell? I really need one.
Flicking my eyes open, I closed my eyes back on as the piercing glimmer of the sun rays stung into my eyes. Yawning, I sat up and ran my hands through my wild hairs; I wasn't surprised to find nodulous knots in my hair, obviously caused by those doltish hair accessories.
My brows knitted in confusion as I witnessed my surroundings. This is not my room.
"Good morning, sunshine." A deep sharp voice startled me.
I jumped back in eye-opener when I recognize that all too familiar voice. Jay was standing beforehand, with nothing but with blue denim on. Then the realization washed over me and I got the picture right. I'm married now. This is not my room. This is his room.
My eyes couldn't help but linger over him. He looked like he'd just taken a shower, his hairs were still damp. I could smell the refreshing soap on him. He moved and grabbed the coffee mug, closing his eyes after taking a long soothing sip of the beverage.
"Are you done checking me out?" He snapped at me.
Lowering my head down, I practically hit myself on the head. I wasn't checking him out. Okay, maybe I was.
"Who's the room is this?" I asked and noticed the huge carats of gold wasn't on my body anymore. As far as I remember, I didn't remove it, then who did? I moved my eyes at him. Did he?
He was about to open his mouth but I cut him off.
"Did you removed my jewelry?"
His clean-cut handsome face changed into frowning one as his brown eyes met mine. But then his expression morphed into a cocky smirk.
"What if I did?" He said dauntlessly as he walked towards the bed.
"I'm just asking, it's just that I don't remember removing because I was too tired and,"
"Oh! That means you don't remember the beautiful memories we created last night?!"
I looked at him sternly.
"Fine whatever I don't know who removed your f**king jewelry, maybe Adita did."
With that, he turned back towards the wardrobe and picked a black T-shirt while I shook my head.
I heard the door knocked and my eyes found Jay's. He threw the T-shirt beside me on the bed and walked towards the door.
He opened the door and Adita came into my view, standing there with a small smile on her face.
"You're not ready? there are so many rituals has to be done." She asked, glowering.
"I just woke up, I'm sorry I didn't know, I'll just get ready," I told her as I finally stood up from the bed.
Running my eyes down over my clothes, I realize that I was still in my wedding dress. One can only imagine how tired I must have been that I didn't even bother to change the wedding dress.
"It's okay Kanan, I have arranged your clothes, take your time." She said squeezing my shoulder.
I grasped my clothes and walked towards the washroom but stopped when I hit a solid wall. Moving my eyes up, I perceived the solid wall was Jay. He still does not have his shirt on.
"Eyes up front, Baby."
He spoke pressing on the 'baby' word. Gulping, I stepped back away from him.
"Jay, why are you here? Didn't I told you to use some other room?" Adita's voice came which made Jay's eyes rolled a bit.
"If you are forgetting, this is my room." He answered as he passed by me carelessly.
