adventures with the bad batch

part twelve (between ep6 and 7)

"Oh, damn, my sock has a hole in it" she said

"Is that your only pair?" I asked

"Yeah" she said

"I will have to sew it" I said even though I had no idea how to sew

"You know how to sew?"

"Nope, but I've seen someone do it, I'm sure it will be just fine" I mean it can't be that hard just sewing a sock. "Hey tech, do you have a sewing kit?"

"A sewing kit, no" he said

"Alright let's go to the markets and find one" I said as omega and I stood up and walked over to hunter "Hunter, omega and I are going to the markets we will be back soon"

"Alright, be careful" he said

Omega and I walked into the markets asking if they had a sewing kit until we found a store that had heaps of random stuff

"Excuse me, you don't happen to have a sewing kit?" I asked

"For a matter of fact I do, I have had it here for ages" the store keeper said

"Oh thank you, how much is that?" I asked

"Oh no, you take it, it's never going to sell"

"Thank you so much, you are so kind" I smiled and walked away with a small plastic box with two needles and some different coloured thread

"You are really polite" omega said

"Well, I was raised that way, being polite, especially by the jedi order"

As we were walking back to the ship some thugs were strutting down the street and looked at me, omega saw them looking at me and grabbed my hand as the thugs started to approach me but I keep walking not making eye contact or even acknowledging them.

"Ella" omega said worried, I kept ahold of her hand and the thugs got even close, as they got just in front of us omega got even more scared but I still didn't look at them,

"Hey give u-"

"Go away" I said as I slowly waved my hand across their faces and they just walked away

"Woah what was that?"

"Jedi mind tricks, the weak minded are always so easy to fool"

"Wow"

We got back to the ship with the sewing kit and omega ran up to hunter

"You okay?" He asked

"You should of seen it, some thugs were approaching us and they were about to say something but Ella just said go away and they left" she said mimicking my hand trick,

I chuckled and sat down "here omega give me your sock"

"Sock, what are you doing?" Hunter asked

"I'm sewing her sock cause it has a hole in it"

"You know how to sew?" Echo asked

"Nope" I said placing the sock across my leg and getting out the needle and attempting the put the white thread through the tiny hole in the needle, it took me a few times but I got it, I tied a knot and then sewed the hole together, pretty rough but its kinda fixed.

"Okay all done, its not perfect but I did it" I said

"Wow thank you" omega said

After showing omega the Jedi mind trick thing she kept wanting me to do it, which was pretty funny, and she was even trying it even though she can't wield the force.

"Tech you will let me fly the ship" she said waving her hand

"What no, what are you doing" he said

"Yes" she said calmly waving her hand again

"No," he said again "Hunter, omega is being weird" he called out

"Why won't it work" she asked me

"Because your not a Jedi" I said

"What is she doing?" Hunter asked tech

"I don't know" tech said "but she is being weird"

"She is trying to mind control you" I laughed

"Wh- what" he said

"Why can't I be a jedi"

"Well firstly, you aren't force sensitive"

"So I dont have the force in me" she said

"No you have the force, everyone has the force in them, you just dont have the ability to wield it" I said

"Why not?"

"Clones can't be force sensitive, and it is rare even if your not a clone"

"Oh"

"Don't worry omega, if you were force sensitive, you would make a great Jedi" I smiled at her
