"We usually divide into two teams and play against each other," Draco said as he pushed himself closer to us. "If not, everyone trains with someone else to improve their abilities."

He had stopped in front of Mattheo, looking at him directly. In other hands, Mattheo kept his attention towards me, noticing me sway around, quite in my own world. Before he could swim my way, Draco caught his attention again.

"It's quite fun when other Slytherins watch us practice. Even though they don't see much, it makes many of us feel quite proud of what we're doing," he looked back at the shore, seeing the others in a light argument. He sighed, turning around back to Mattheo. "And that's me," he sighed, slowly swimming back to the shore.

Mattheo looked at me, seeing me sway around in the open lake. "Quite nice isn't it?" he asked softly as he drifted to me.

I turned to him and smiled. "Peaceful," I added, before looking at the shore. "We should go back." I smiled before pushing myself closer to the shore.

Mattheo grabbed me by my hand and pulled me back. Confused I looked at him and frowned. He kept his eyes on me, occasionally glancing at the others behind me. He managed to take both my hands in his, keeping me floating in front of him. Little did I know, he floated me away from the view of the others, half behind the tree.

"What?" I asked as he smiled into my eyes. I couldn't seem to get a smile off my face, nor the blush off my cheeks.

He glanced over my shoulder one more time before returning his eyes to me. "Why do you care for the others so much?" he asked softly, tilting his head slightly.

I smiled softer and took a deep breath. "Their my family. All of them."

They were truly my family. I didn't really have a real one, except them. Pansy and Astoria were like my sisters. We were best friends since first year. The same with Draco, only he was like my twin. We were inseparable. I only met Blaise in fourth year, when he became friends with Malfoy. Honestly, he's not much of my family, but he is a close friend. Theo and I never clicked. And if we ever will, he'd never be considered as family. Crabbe and Goyle were never really part of our friend group. They were always just around us to be Draco's 'minions'.

Mattheo lift his one hand to my cheek, gently stroking it with my thumb. I felt the warmness of his hand cover over my entire cheek. I closed my eyes, warming up to it, feeling the coldness of the water no more. My mind was blank, before smiling at the image of my friends.

Gently my mind was interrupted by lips. I opened my eyes, noticing Mattheo's lips against mine. His eyes were closed, and for seconds I closed my eyes again. For some reason I didn't pull away, but rather stayed still; I was completely numb. His lips were soft, smooth. Slowly Mattheo pulled away, causing me to open my eyes. He smiled softly, and without a word, he walked around me, getting out the water. I was frozen, shocked by what he did, and shocked by how I just went numb and stayed still.

"Wha- What-" I couldn't find the words.

"Lee?" I heard Mattheo call from behind me. I turned around, seeing him on the shore, looking at me. "You coming? I don't think it's smart to stay in the water for too long. It's going to get dark soon."

I suddenly noticed the sky had slowly started to darken and the sun had started to set. There was a light source that came from behind the tree, probably from everyone's wands. Without thinking twice, I got out, walking over to him. Shivers suddenly flew over me as the wind smashed against my soaked skin. Unexpectedly, Mattheo jumped in front of me just when I reached the tree. Confused I looked at him, seeing him almost just seven inches away from my body. I frowned.
