Part 31- Comfort Zone

"For what?" I asked confused.

"just...thank you" he said once again as I could only smile at him.

I'm guessing it was really worth it.

"Let's go...there's somewhere I have to bring you now" he said as we walked back to the car.

We got in as he drove away to somewhere I had no idea about. He wasn't telling me where he was bringing me but I was bit excited still. The whole ride he hadn't let go of my hand. He kept it near him on his thigh.

Half an hour later, I looked out the window and saw the cemetery. Now I know exactly why we are here.

We both got out of the car, he came by my side and grabbed my hand again. We walked up to where his mother was.

I was getting a flashback to the first time he brought me here to introduce me to her. I felt so many things at the same time that day.

We finally arrived as we both starred at his mother's name engraved on the rock.

"Mom...look who I brought once again..." he said.

"Hi...aunty...I am Aslan's wife, surprisingly the girl that he likes...I wish you could see his face right now, he looks nervous but cute...upset but happy...many emotions build up together I'd say..." I said.

I am really trying to make him feel safe and happy. Because I know he can be. I know he deserves to be.

He looked at me in the eyes and gave me a smile.

"I kept my promise mom, I came back with Adalina as my wife" he stated.

We stayed there for a few more minutes. Although only silence was present after his last sentence, it was a comforting and healing silence. No words were said, our hearts spoke instead.

We went back in the in the car and I was a bit tired already. I was sure we were heading back home when he suddenly received a call. He was talking to someone I was wondering about.

He hung a couple minutes later as I was still staring at him waiting for him to tell me who it was.

"It was nano...she wants to see us right away" he said.

"Nano...oh my Allah! Nano! Of course I'd love to see her!" I agreed immediately.

I don't care how tired I am. Seeing nano will surely make me gain energy.

"You sure?...I know you're tired" he asked concerned.

"I'll be fine, let's go to her" I confirmed.

We were on her way to her now. Aslan explained that she has been wanting to see me for the longest time ever. I was so glad hearing that.

She is the purest soul I've ever met. Aslan is blessed to have her as his grandmother.

We arrived at her place an hour later, I was getting flashbacks once again from the first time I came here. Her place was still so beautifully filled with flowers. The same scent was hitting my nose.
