Chapter 11: Party

You were slightly disappointed by Quackity's sudden arrival but the party was soon and it took a while to get to where it was.

The party was at a new building, it was a big place that you honestly could've confused for a hotel. It was tall and lit up with all sorts of colourful lights, you didn't know what it was but guessed it was some form of club.

You walked in with Schlatt and saw a lot of people already there. Everybody was drinking and having fun. It was like a college party. Quackity came in and instantly went over to Karl and Sapnap, George went over with him since Dream was there.

Now it was just you and Schlatt "doll, just promise me that if anything happens tonight if anyone comes up to you, you will ignore them, alright?" He asked gripping you waist "yeah I'll be fine, Schlatt" you said moving his hand away and walking over to Niki who was wearing a pretty light green dress.

You tapped her shoulder and saw her face light up with glee "Y/N!" She yelled as she jumped onto you giving you a great big hug, she accidentally knocked yous both onto the floor making you both laugh "It's so good to see you!" You said smiling "you saw me yesterday" she replied helping you up.

You chatted with her for about 30 minutes no and then something- someone caught your eye.

A tall, brown haired man, in a red beanie and a worn black suit and had a blonde haired boy behind him.

You raced over to him "Wilbur!" You said making him turn around "Y/N! You're not dead" He replied. You looked at him full of confusion "of course I'm not dead- what made you think that?"

Tommy's face went pale "Wilbur run" he said sprinting out the backdoor. Wilbur froze- he just froze. You were still confused until you turned around.

Schlatt was there along with Fundy, George  and a few others you didn't know "thank you sweetheart, you finally got them to me!" Schlatt  said pushing past you and getting the others to grab Wilbur "Schlatt, what are you doing?" You asked tugging on his arm "it's a real shame we couldn't get Tommy too" he responded to his own sentence brushing off what you had just said.

Schlatt stood up onto a stage there was in the club and brought Wilbur with him "Today ladies and gentlemen!" He shouted getting everyone's attention "we will exterminate the bugs on this perfect nation starting with this one" and signalled the guards to pull out their crossbows and aim at Wilbur.

"Schlatt! What the fuck are you doing?" You shouted hopping onto the stage  "this doesn't concern you doll" he said glancing at you "why the fuck would you do this? He's done nothing wrong!" You said looking him dead in the eyes "sweetheart, you have to get off stage" he growled.

You threw yourself onto Wilbur knocking you two off the stage and helping him go "Y/N WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?" Schlatt shouted at you "Wilbur just go!" You said helping Wilbur up.

Wilbur hesitated but ran faster than you had even seen him run before.

You felt a hand grip your shoulder and you knew what was going to happen.

Fundy, Schlatt and Quackity all walked back with you in silence until you got into the White House and went to Schlatt's office. You all sat down until Schlatt finally spoke up "Y/N would you care to tell us why the fuck you helped Wilbur go?" He asked sounding agitated.

You looked at Fundy who was standing behind you the to Quackity "well, we're waiting" he said "I was helping my friend who doesn't deserve to die" you snapped at him.

He looked at you disappointed "Y/N, he was a good person at some point but he changed quite a lot" Schlatt stood up and shooed Fundy and Quackity away then went to his cabinet to get some whiskey "why do you always drink?" You made him chuckle when you asked this "well sweetheart sometimes I get a small feeling that this is needed, want some?" He asked picking up the bottle and showing it to him "no thanks" you replied.

He looked at you and his facial expression changed from angry and uptight to amused and relaxed "Y/N, sweetheart, I insist!" He grinned "listen if you're trying to get me drunk so you can-" he cut you off "you're so quick to jump to conclusions, no I have a feeling you'd let me do that when you're sober" he said walking closer and handing you a glass of whiskey.

You drank yours and he started talking about what his plan was that night "We invited Wilbur and Tommy by saying that we had killed you and were going to hold a ceremony for your funeral, so obviously they were coming" he said with a chuckle "and I was going to keep you with me until we had spotted them but-" "but I ran off, what I don't understand is why you need to kill him!" You replied rather loudly.

He just looked at you and that feeling came back to you "he was a bad person Y/N, please understand I am doing this for your safety" he said calmly "oh my lord- you're doing this to keep yourself safe! Not me, not Manberg, you!"you shouted "Doll, calm down" he said in a calm voice again.

Schlatt eventually walked over to you while you threw a tantrum and hugged you "Y/N, please just be calm" he reassured you "I am doing thing for you I promise" you just looked at him with your eyes welling up with tears "are you sure?" You asked "of course" he replied hugging you tighter.
