Ned came in along with Aunt May. He sat on my bed behind me, fiddling with his fingers. She stood at the doorway smiling awkwardly.

"You boys have fun, Ned tells me you're building something lego. Can't wait to see it." She waved and left the room, leaving the door slightly open. I pushed it completely closed with my foot, turning to Ned.

"Harry situation." He spoke, kind of shocked. I hummed and pulled out the crumpled paper and suit from under my desk. Sighed and started sketching some new designs for my web-shooters. Ned peeked over my shoulder interested in what I was doing.

"Finally updating the shooters?" He looked closer admiring my work.

"Yeah, I need more settings. I only have 12 at the moment, it's really annoying." I looked over the design, it was a little chunky, maybe I could thin out the metal.

"12 sounds plenty how do you need more?" He sat back down on the bed when my phone rang a ding.

"I have loads more useful ideas. Like a web that works like a grappling hook so I can swing on top of surfaces easier, it contracts back inside to pull me up. Or maybe a web that dissolves within twenty seconds, so there isn't just white web hanging off of buildings while I'm swinging about."

I pulled out my phone to see the person who texted me.

"An unknown number just texted me." I clicked on the message. Ned's eyes widened and he ran up to me peering over my shoulder again.

212-202-0970: Peter Parker, this is Norman Osborne. I know you are Harry's friend but you need to stay away from him for the time being. I believe you are in danger. Please come over to Oscorpe tower tomorrow morning as soon as possible, we will discuss this shortly.

Norman Osborne.

Ned grabbed the phone off me and started reading it. "Oh my god, are you going to go?" Ned looked at me worried. I thought for a bit, maybe I can get more information if I go?

"yes, I'll go. I can't be in much danger anyway, Harry doesn't know my identity. I'm sure Norman just wanted to tell me to stop being friends with Harry for now."

"But if it's just that, why didn't Osborne text me? Warn me to stop being friends with Harry?"

"Maybe he doesn't know you're friends? Norman isn't very present in Harry's life, I don't think he even knows the name of the school he goes to."

I glanced at the time on my phone, it was 6:49 pm. Ned knew what I was thinking and smirked at me while he pulled an earpiece out of his pocket, putting it in his ear.

I pulled on the spider-man suit, opening my eyes inside the mask. The systems turned on and I felt energized. I looked over at Ned who was at my desk booting up the laptop. He turned to look at my suit.

"You upgraded your suit?"

"Yeah, new aiming system, new sense control, and better camera solution. You'll be able to see my point of view better." I smiled at him, the laptop opened up. On it Ned could see what I was seeing, he would communicate with me with his earpiece and he had the hacking software ready in case I needed access to something technical.

"Have you put the stealth system into it yet?" He asked while typing something into the laptop.

"No, not yet. It will be helpful when I need to sneak around and be quiet though." I opened up my bedroom window feeling the wind already. Waving at Ned, I jumped out from the tall apartment building. Before I hit the ground, I thwipped a web.

Swung around Queens for a while until I realized there's nothing going on, me and Ned just chatting about school while I flipped through the air.

"Still nothing?" I asked, landing on a tall lampost. I looked down at all the cars passing by, it was slowly getting dark. The car lights illuminated the New York streets. Ned checked the police scanner once again, finding nothing. I started heading to Brooklyn to see if there's anything there. I was swinging for about 7 minutes when my spider-sense made me dodge a figure falling towards me. A man on the roof??

I looked over to the man who looked like he would've tackled me to the ground, to see it was only Deadpool.

"Gosh, you're a hard man to track down spidey!" He got up from the ground, well rooftop.

"Well, you don't have to try and tackle me" I chucked sitting down on the wall ledge facing him.

"I've been following you for like 7 minutes now, you're really fast winging with those webs" He brushed off the dust from his red suit, skipping over to sit down next to me. He turned around to hand his legs off the building, admiring the lights. I turned around to do the same.

"You haven't been following me, I would've known if I'm being followed, I always know"

"Spidey, I follow people as a job, I can stalk someone no problem." He shrugged.

"Stalk? What job do you do that you have to stalk people for?" I turned my head to him, he slightly gasped.

"Nevermind that" He changed the subject, "I need your help with something."
