Hava winced, "If your sisters see that, you're going to be on house arrest." I snarled and Hava swiped the handkerchief and hid it somewhere. I heaved a few more seconds before Hava helped guide me to the study.

I sat down at my desk and felt as the shadows curled around my ankles. Bad day, this was a bad day and I needed to calm down.

I wanted to fight. Yet I couldn't fight. I wanted to walk with my siblings. Yet half the time I couldn't make three steps without help. I sighed and flicked through the reports. I needed to find this female.

She would be the one deciding fate. I caught a few words, Few found what looked to be a High fae Winter Court female leading a small force of ten thousand. Her name is Viviane, her surname is unknown. While upon the fact she had white hair, and blue eyes. Many say she is a possible bride for High Lord Killias.

Position was in the center of Winter Court. We have found them moving positions probably to be out of the way for when those under Amarantha's grasp pass through on their trek to the human-lands.

The date was yesterday. I sighed, "Feyre's going to hate me." Hava glanced at me and shrugged, "She'll forgive you, this is important. Besides I'm sure the Winter Court naga wolf would like to see his home."

I nodded, knocking sounded on the door. Hava's grip on her throwing sword was tight. "Enter." Feyre stalked through the doors and clicked them shut behind her. Hava's tense form loosened up a bit.

"If you're mad about the wolves-" Feyre started and I sliced my hand through air silencing her. "I am not mad that giant magically gifted, rare, almost extinct wolves chose you."

Feyre swallowed, waiting for the order. "I am sending your unit to Winter Court to convince a royal to join our cause." feyre's form was tense, "I'll take Brandelis with me as well-"

"Commander Feyre, you are taking the unit I am assigning you." I repeated. And she raised her chin a bit, her shoulders had thrown themselves back on instinct. "Yes, High General."

"Take the wolves with you Commander." I declared. I added quickly, "You'll leave today."

I dismissed her and with a hand over her heart she saluted me. Commander Feyre exited quickly. Hava was frowning, "You're being harsh."

"She saw me as her sister, not her High General. I needed to make things translucent." I remedied with Hava. She nodded, but her frown was still plastered to her face. Someone knocked on my door. I sighed and rubbed my temples, "Enter."

A messenger entered quickly. Hava took the letter from him, and she basically shoved him back out the door before he could say anything. I watched her scan over the letter. "It's a letter from Tamlin. But it was written by Amarantha."

I snorted, "So she thought we wouldn't have keyed his scent?" Hava nodded, her scowl a bit lessened. "She underestimates us, we can use that."

I shook my head, "It's probably a trap to make her seem like she is weak. We use nothing she hands us, we make our own game." Hava nodded and chucked the letter into the fireplace that heated the room.

"Hava," I said flatly. I felt her gaze, cutting through me. "When this is all done, I will not be here. So promise me you will protect my sister's."

"I swear upon my immortal soul, that every step I take will be mindful of your sisters. And that every choice I make will protect them, even from themselves." Hava swore, I watched as a tiny scythe appeared on her life blood near her neck.

I coughed, blood splattering on my hands.

It will be a long night.
