Edluca Oneshots

Luca rushed around his house in a panic. He was supposed to be preparing for a date with Edgar. He had to pack for a surprise picnic, Edgar loved them and Luca loves to surprise him. He found a basket under the stairs and put it on the kitchen counter. He rummaged through the fridge and cupboards, looking for snacks. He let out a sigh of relief when he found a cake he bought specifically for the date. He shoved different small foods into the basket and ran to his bedroom to change.

He opened his closet door and pulled out every piece of nice clothing he had, throwing them on the bed. He scanned through them all and pulled out jeans and a pattered sweater. He stood in front of his mirror and smiled widely.

"I'm so cute." he laughed, turning to the door.

Downstairs, he tied his hair up into a messy ponytail and he grabbed the basket, shoving the picnic blanket into a small backpack. He left the house quickly and ran to the nearby park. He looked around for a nice spot and found a tree surrounded by flowers.

Perfect.

He lay the blanket down onto the grass and set out the snacks. He sat down and took out his phone to text Edgar.

𝓛𝓾𝓬𝓪:

Hi honeyyyyy!! Come to the park, I have a surprise for you!! ^3^

𝓔𝓭𝓰𝓪𝓻:

I'm kinda busy right now. Maybe tomorrow."

Luca narrowed his eyes and aggressively texted him back.

𝓛𝓾𝓬𝓪:

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! YOU WN'T REGRET ITT AND I'M ALREADDY HEERE."

𝓔𝓭𝓰𝓪𝓻:

Fine. I'll be there in 10 minutes. This better be worth it."

Luca smiled and put his phone down. Now he just had to wait. He hopes Edgar will like it. Just about 10 minutes later, Luca saw him at the gate of the park, looking around. Edgar's eyes looked everywhere to find Luca and soon saw him under the tree, waving at him. He sprinted over and stood in front of him.

"You did this?" he asked in awe.

"Mmhmm, I did this for you Eddie! I know how much you like picnics." Luca exclaimed, grinning.

Edgar sat down and scooted close to him. He rested his head on Luca's shoulder and sighed.

"Thank you..."

Luca kissed the top of his head and looked down at him lovingly. Edgar turned away and blushed.

"Oh! I got you cake too. It's your favorite, vanilla.~" he remarked, taking it out of the basket.

Edgar's face lit up and he smiled softly, licking his lips. His smile soon fell and he glanced at Luca.

"Don't you hate vanilla?" he murmured.

"I'm not too fond of it yeah, but I'll eat it with you anyway." Luca chuckled.

"You don't have to..."

"Eddie, don't worry about it, I did this for you."

Edgar nodded and Luca opened the cake box. He had brought knives and forks so he could cut it. He gave Edgar and himself a piece and placed them on the blanket. Edgar's smile was wide, he was so happy. Luca handed him a drink and opened more snacks.

"Enjoy darling.~" he purred, pecking Edgar on the cheek.

Edgar ate his food neatly. He had such excellent manners and Luca found it adorable. He's so perfect. Edgar rested on Luca's shoulder again. Luca picked a piece of cake on his fork and put it in front of Edgar's mouth. Edgar looked at him and allowed it, a wide smile across his face.

"This is amazing Luca. You're too kind to me. I don't deserve this." he sighed, nuzzling against him.

Luca's mouth widened and he peered at him. He pulled him close and leaned his head against Edgar's.

"Of course you deserve this. You deserve this and so much more. You know I go far beyond to do what you love." he beamed.

Edgar's face flushed and he hung his head down. He quietly laughed to himself.

"You're so funny Luca. I never thought I would ever have someone care about me this much." he chuckled.

Luca snickered and leaned against the tree, closing his eyes.

"It's cause I love ya Eddie! I enjoy stuff like this too, so I enjoy doing this for you."

Edgar ate more little snacks and gave some to Luca. They chatted and laughed together. Luca stood up and Edgar looked at him, confused. He began to briskly climb the tree and wrapped his hands on a branch, hanging down. He grinned at Edgar from above and swung a bit.

Back and forth, back and forth.

He was giggling and talking with Edgar. He changed positions and hung from the tree by his legs. He dangled and swung around.

"That's dangerous! Don't swing by your legs, you'll fall!" Edgar yelled, furrowing his eyebrows.

"It's fine. I've been doing this since I was younger!" Luca exclaimed.

"That makes sense I guess."

He continued climbing and swinging before Edgar got lonely.

"Lucaaa, come down. I miss you." he nagged.

"Never!"

"If you don't, I'll eat your cookies.~" Edgar teased.

"NOOO! THEY'RE MINE!"

He immediately jumped down from the tree, landing on his face. Edgar gasped and checked if he was ok. Luca lift his head back up and he grinned.

"You didn't eat them right?" he wondered.

Edgar sat in silence for a moment.

"LUCA YOU LITERALLY JUST FELL FROM A TREE! WHY ARE YOU WORRIED ABOUT THE COOKIES?" he shouted.

"Oh, when I was younger I also always fell on my face when I tried to jump down. I guess I never learn." he laughed.

"Alright, but are you hurt at all? Your arms, head, legs?" Edgar fretted.

Luca shook his head.

Edgar sighed and handed him his snacks.

"No more climbing trees around me ok?"

Luca frowned but complied. He lay down on Edgar's lap and smiled up at him. Edgar giggled and brushed his fingers through his hair. Luca closed his eyes contently and he crossed his arms. Edgar slipped a strawberry into his mouth.

"Another pleaseeee." he asked.

Edgar gave him another and ate one himself. He rested against the tree and continued playing with Luca's hair. It was so soft and he loved to play with it. His fingers brushed through it perfectly. Luca rarely brushes his hair but he could tell that he brushed it today. Luca always goes all out to make Edgar enjoy his time with him. He loved to spoil him, making Edgar happy made Luca happy. Luca reached his hand over to the flowers and picked a few. He gave some to Edgar and grabbed more. He started to make a small flower crown and he sat up, putting it on Edgar's head. Edgar smiled softly and made Luca one.

They both laughed.

"You're so cute, Luca. I love it hahaha!" Edgar remarked.

"I know. You're cuter Eddie, just like this flower crown.~" Luca cooed.

Edgar blushed profusely and covered his face with his hands. Luca moved his hands away and held Edgar's chin. He gave him a small kiss on the lips and Edgar pushed him in embarrassment.

"Not in public..." he whispered.

Luca snickered and pulled Edgar close to him.

"Don't be so shy darling.~"

"I hate you..."

"I love you too."
