difficult // taegyu

second chapter

"Apa, Moma!" shouts my younger brother excited next to me. I just forced myself to continue to smile. "Hello sons!" says my mum and my dad only smiles a little bit. My parents are both incredible handsome. They both have dark hair and brown eyes. My Mom has an American father, so she has some American features, which she passed to her second son, and a Korean mother. My father looks a bit like me, I mean obviously... I'm his son. But sometimes it's creepy, it is like I look in a mirror, who shows me my older self. He owns my eyes and nose, and we look similar in general. It's creepy, but looks don't mean that we are honestly similar, right?

"So, we have something to talk about." I grab Hueningkai's hand tight and nod. "We are listening." I know that my parents don't like it, if we talk about 'unnecessary' things or do not pay attention. "We have some important business deals to do and will visit you in a few days to inform you in person.", tells us my dad, wait for us to nod and continues, "It will affect many of the decisions we will make for our company." He pauses and as soon as he called my name to go on, I feel that Hyuka tightens his grip around my fingers.

"Beomgyu, it is time for you to think about your future seriously. It is and will be the Choi company." I know exactly what he meant, but I don't want to hear it.

"Your father is right, Beomgyu. You can't only think of you. You have to think about the company and your family. It is the best, if you continue our work and be the next-" I can't stand this anymore. "But I don't want your fucking company!" "Language Beomgyu!" my father raises his voice. I go silent again.

I simply don't want to do it. To be the owner and representative of a perfume company, means so much more then only much work. You are well-known, followed by paparazzies, you have to deal with much stress, and you can't do what you want. There are unspoken rules you must follow, so the society loves you and pays attention to your company.

"You are almost an adult, so act like one and fulfill your obligation!" My father shouts through the phone. I can't handle shouts and my parents know that pretty well. Even though I don't want it, I feel a tear running down my cheeks.

I don't react to the outburst from my father that leads him to sigh. "Beomgyu, son, we only want the best for you. Think about it and we will talk in a few days again." With this statement he goes off the screen, leaves his mom alone there.

"Beomgyu and you too Hueningkai, you are Chois, and you have to act like ones. Please respect our decisions. We will see you soon! Enjoy your vacation!" She smiles at us, but both of us now that it is fake. We wave her goodbye and as soon her face disappears, Hyuka hugs me tightly and comforts me.

I don't get why they have to shout. To be honest I don't get the situation at all. I think about my future. Sometimes. And I don't have anything against working at our company. But I am afraid. I do not have a dream my parents force me to give up. I mean I love dancing, but I'm not that good, so that wouldn't work. I don't have a goal for my future. I am just me, without plans, without wishes. And this is exactly, why I am afraid.

After a while I calm down and my younger brother suggests going out and eat something at a near restaurant. The idea makes me smile, so we both agree and get ready.

I take a short shower and dress up nicely. I wear dark comfortable pants, a thin jacket with the same color, if it's get colder tonight and a white striped T-Shirt. After a look in the mirror, I add glasses.

I get off the bathroom to wait for the younger boy. Hyuka wears a comfortable short Jeans and a casual black shirt with a tight long-sleeved shirt.

We step out of our apartment and of the hotel to go to the Korean restaurant.
