She covered her mouth with her hand to stop herself spitting out her drink as she laughed. "That's not what it sounded like last night."

I felt my cheeks immediately burn bright red as Blaise frowned, confused, and Theo's jaw dropped. "Raven Holt!" He exclaimed, sounding scandalised. "I didn't know you were having late night company?"

I hid even further behind my hands as Blaise finally realised what we were talking about. "What?!"

Pansy snorted and gave me an apologetic look. "Thing is, I'm pretty sure we didn't have any visitors last night. And besides, Raven's smart enough to use a silencing charm," the betraying bitch prompted with raised eyebrows.

Theo grinned. "Oh, that's even better," he cackled.

"I'm going to kill all of you. Slowly."

Blaise tried his best not to smile but it shined through. At least my embarrassment was entertaining.

People along the table were starting to look at us funnily as the three people I considered my closest friends fought to contain their laughter.

I shook my head and unwrapped a muffin to eat before class while considering ways I could remove this from my memory.

The four of us headed to Potions where I was concerned to find Draco had skipped. He had been doing that a lot more recently.

My day carried on, filled with what felt like pointless classes. I did my best not to distract my friends from their work but it was hard when everything was so dreadfully boring.

Finally, I had finished the day. Everything was feeling a bit repetitive at the moment. Except for my dreams. I didn't know, or want to know, what was happening with my dreams.

It was just a dream, it didn't mean anything and the fact it was him didn't mean anything either. I needed to think rather not clear my head for the first time in forever. And I always thought best when I was relaxed.

This all led to me ending up in the astronomy tower, pulling out one, two, and eventually three joints.

I was stupidly high and I loved it. I could think without letting my feelings get in the way and I could relax more than I had in weeks. Everything seems so simple when you're high. Not that it's something I would encourage, dirty habits and all, but it was easy to prioritise when I was up in the clouds with the birds.

So in saying that, I had to admit, it was a good dream, it was more the person in it that concerned me. And the fact that I had wanted it, really badly. Even now as I thought of it, the memory made me clench my thighs together slightly.

I let the last puff of smoke out of my mouth and threw away the end, not letting myself have more. I knew I had already had too much but I didn't care.

It was late afternoon now and they sky was turning from a boring grey to a warm yellow and orange. The wind was going at it but I couldn't feel any cold. I was actually quite comfortable in my robes and uniform.

It was going to get dark soon and I didn't want to be caught with red rimmed eyes and the heavy smell of weed on me. I got up from against the wall and wobbled over to the stairs. Nothing felt real at this moment. I steadied my footing and climbed down the staircase, keeping my hands on the railings just in case.

I reached the bottom and jumped from the third step, giggling to myself.

It was once I had been skipping down the corridor for some time that I realised I had no idea where I was anymore.

Torches were lit up along the walls, providing light for me to see down the long hallways. I was temporarily side-tracked by thoughts of magic and the castle, wondering how on earth magic actually worked.
