His gripped loosened but only for a second, it was enough for me to reach into my jacket and pull out my gun. I aimed it at his foot and shot, the man behind me cried out in pain.

Not Hunter? It sure didn't sound like him but it was too dark to make it all out.

His arms gave way completely. I ran from his grip, turning back around to shot the guy holding Liv, but she was completely in the way, i couldn't shot her attacker without shooting her, and especially while I was drunk.

The man with the injured foot stood up again, limping towards me. I raised my gun and fired at his head, the bullet hit the wall behind him.

Fuck, i couldn't aim when i was this drunk, everything was spinning.

Before i knew it, the man running at me was on the ground, his head bleeding out.

I looked towards the other side of the alley to see Hunter with a gun, he shot the man holding Liv, who then dropped to the ground. Liv unharmed.

Hunter walked towards us as he put his pistol back into its holder around his waist.

"You girls are idiots, not having someone accompanying you." He shot towards me.

"You fucking set us up you dick." I fired back.

"A mere thank you would have been enough, not a damn accusation." He said as he dropped to his knees in front of one of bodies.

He pushed the hair away from the mans neck, a tattoo of a lion head surrounded by fire was inked there.

Hunter cursed, muttering under his breath.

"What did you say?" I asked.

"Go home before you wind up dead." Is all he said before looking between the two of us.

Hunter cursed again. "Do you guys have a driver?" He asked.

"Uh, no we didn't think that far ahead." I realised just how dumb we must look to him.

"I'll drive you." He held his hand out towards Liv, who gave him the keys. I crossed my arms over my chest, I didn't care what he was offering, there was no way I was letting him take me home.

"There wouldn't be any point saving your drunk ass if I left you to drive home wasted." He said as he saw my face.

I quickly closed my mouth and lead him towards the parked car. Liv was stumbling at that point, so I laid her down on the back seat, I took the passenger.

As Hunter drove away we sat in awkward silence, broken by Liv's occasional snores.

"Why were you at that club?" I finally asked.

"To piss you off." He smirked.

I rolled my eyes because it fucking worked.

"How did you know it was my club." I was desperate for the answer.

He only winked at me and said, "there's a lot you don't know about me, huh."

"Of course i don't know shit about you, I've known you for two days." I retorted. Hunter never replied.

We didn't speak for the rest of the trip until we made it back to my house.

"Thanks," I said as I stepped out of the car, still a bit wobbly. As my feet made contact with the cold ground, I realised I had left my heels at the club. I could just get them another time.

I opened the car door and woke Liv up by slapping her across the ass. She shrieked in response.

I helped as she got out of the car, stumbling a lot more than me, even without her shoes, which were also lost at the club.

Hunter stepped out of the car and watched as we walked up towards the house steps. Liv stumbled towards the door as I turned and looked at him one last time, curiosity taking over my mind.

Somehow, with a lot of skill and luck, we made it up the stairs and into my bedroom. Liv collided with the bed and was out before the mattress stopped moving.

I walked to the window and watched as Hunter sat on the curb of the road, a phone to his ear. I continued to watch his powerful silhouette until a sleek black car pulled out and he slid inside.

I sat there thinking about the nights events, though my eyes widened a bit when i realised -

I had never given Hunter my address.
