You can't just walk away from us." It was obvious he was alarmed, and probably questioning my sanity. Heh. "̴O̴h̴,̵ ̷r̶e̵a̸l̴l̴y̴?̸"̶

I turned to stare at him, keeping half a mind on the guards. "̸I̴ ̸c̷a̸n̶ ̴d̵o̸ ̵w̴h̶a̸t̸e̵v̵e̴r̶ ̶I̷ ̸w̸a̴n̶t̶.̵ ̸I̸t̵ ̷w̸a̶s̷.̸.̸"̵ I paused to think of a word. "̵N̸i̶c̸e̵ ̷t̴o̵ ̴w̸o̴r̶k̶ ̷w̵i̶t̷h̴ ̶y̸o̶u̴.̸"̷ I turned with a fake dramatic bow, the scientist sputtering in disbelief. The guards watched me in confusion as I walked to a wall.

I paused in front of the wall, remembering something, before turning around again. I reached up to the collar around my neck, "̴Y̵o̷u̸ ̵m̵i̸g̴h̸t̶ ̴w̸a̸n̵t̵ ̷t̷h̵i̸s̷ ̴b̶a̸c̷k̴.̷ ̸I̶ ̵s̶u̷r̸e̸ ̶a̵s̶ ̶h̵e̴l̷l̴ ̷d̶o̷n̷'̵t̴.̷"̴, and with that I tugged it through my neck. The humans all stared in shock. I tossed the metal ring onto the table, and without further ado, summoned the portal to take me home.

The ink crawled on the wall as I lightly scraped my claw against it. The guards gaped for a second, before rushing to grab me. I could hear the Saltzer scrabbling notes in his clipboard as he followed. I disappeared into the wall just as the first guard reached me. I didn't know him. The portal closed off on his hand, and I watched as the severed limb fell in with me.

I walked over to it without reopening the portal. I picked it up, inspecting it. It was cleanly cut off just above the wrist. It was already covered in blood from its short time of laying on the floor. I didn't mind the gore; I was more focused on other things.

... I can eat this.

I stood up again, hand still in my hand, staring at my surroundings. A dark room, ink coating ever surface. There were no entrances or exits. I walked over to the only visible defect in the room. I crouched down again, looking at the lump next to the wall. The ink moved away for me, revealing the treasured substance underneath. It was a drawer with bacon soup cans in it.

I quickly counted them, satisfied that everything was in place. Thirteen cans. That could last me about a month and a half. And the hand. I glanced at it again, before deciding to eat it first. Cooked, of course. I wasn't completely barbaric.

I teleported out of my saferoom, into the main studio. Home. It was almost like I never left. Well, besides the bloody appendage that I still clung on to. I walked off into the depths, in search of a suitable place to cook my meal in peace.

⊱⊰ Back in the foundation...⊱⊰

Alarms were blaring as scientists scurried about. It had only been a few minutes since 6030 had left, but people were still rushing to find out where it went. A breached SCP was a serious issue for a site that already had two Keter class anomalies.

Currently, Saltzer was in the main control room, pacing back and forth as the technician next to him tried to reconnect the tracking chip. Of course, they had put a tracking chip on 6030. They would be stupid not to. It seemed like whatever teleporting gimmick it had going on messed with the systems though, needing this situation to occur.

There had originally been two on the SCP, but it had thrown away it's collar, limiting it to only one. The chip had been snuck into it's bowtie, and the foundation could only pray it wasn't lost.

"Hurry up! The longer this thing is out there the larger the chances of it being spotted!" Saltzer snapped at the man, stressed beyond his years. If he lost his position because of this... it wouldn't be good for him, that's for sure.
