Mitch x childhood friend! reader Part 1

I ran to my classroom for the year and placed my bag on hook before I ran off to find my friends. I ran to the playground. None of my friends were there so I just played by myself for awhile. 

I ran over to the monkey bars to find some blonde kid there. They looked familiar. I jumped onto the wood platform to reach the monkey bars. The blonde kid faced towards me. They we looking up at the bars to concentrate. They landed on the platform where I was standing. That's when it hit me. 

"MITCH?" I yelled.

"(Y/N)?" Mitch yelled back. 

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I moved to Bailley during the summer. So I go to Bailley elementary." Mitch answered. 

A huge smile appeared on my face. 

3rd POV

Over time Mitch and (Y/N) came closer. They would hangout during and after school. They both would go over to each others houses to play together. Mitch would hangout with her friends every break because he didn't want to meet other people. 

When Mitch turned 11. He got his first ever Hinobi console. He's been watching his older siblings play but he was never allowed to play. He introduced (Y/N) to Hinobi and she enjoyed playing video games a lot. (Y/N) didn't have a console at her house but whenever she went to Mitch's house, they would spend hours on the console playing whatever game Mitch had. 

When (Y/N) turned 13 she got her first Hinobi console. She didn't beg her parents to buy her one. They already knew by (Y/N) and Mitch spending a lot of time together gaming. Her parents had a few rules to the gaming console and (Y/N) followed them. 

Rules

1. Gaming time. 8am-8pm. You can get more time if you've done something good or when Mitch is over. 

2. Don't get angry at the games. 

3. Don't talk to any strangers on the game. 

4. Do your homework first before you game. 

5. Have fun. 

1st POV

Mitch

(Both 13 now)

I was over at (Y/N)'s house. We were having a lunch break from gaming. 

"Hey. Do you know about the Hinobi Smash tournament?" (Y/N) asked. 

"No. What is it?" I responded. 

"It gathers a bunch of really good online players in each town to compete against each other. At the winner gets a job at the Hinobi store." she said excitedly. 

"Oh cool! Is their an age limit to compete?" I asked, taking another bite from my sandwich.

"Sadly yes. 15 or older." 

"We only have to wait 2 or less more years to compete."

"But it's the best players in each town. It could be anyone."

"We could practise our gaming skills and start a stream on Tweeker." (Season 2 Episode 4)

"Sounds good. I don't know my parents will react though." 

"It'll be fine (Y/N). Trust me." 

I grabbed my laptop from my back I brought. I went onto Tweeker and started to set up an account. (Y/N) and I thought of what type of games we should play to get people to watch our streams.
