The three of you had been flying for a bit, you leaned over the basket, looking at the ground below. Rapunzel was painting things that she would occasionally see, and Eugene... well- he was just being Eugene.
"Sooo... why did you guys bring me along?" You asked, glancing over at the woman.
Eugene and Rapunzel shared a look, "Well," Rapunzel started, "We thought it would be nice for you to come this us on this trip!" The woman said.
"Nah, we want you there so you can keep us in check. Calliope can be... quite a handful." Eugene admitted.
You glanced over at Rapunzel, she didn't say a word so you assumed it was true. The two of them started reminiscing about the times they shared when they were traveling. Rapunzel made the ballon go faster before slowing it down, you spotted the icy sea up ahead.
"Maybe I should have stayed home." You joked, knowing you would have had no say in the matter, and you thought it was good, you hadn't been outside the walls of Corona too much.
Kresten Loch was a terrible-looking place, icy spires and formations were everywhere. As you flew through the Loch you looked down at the ground, seeing a barren wasteland, you wouldn't have expected any more from the place. You wrapped your arms around yourself as you grew colder. The further into the loch you got the less heat there was. You were surprised that the balloon was still floating. You looked over at the ice, seeing a beast frozen into it.
"How did it even get there?" You asked out loud.
Rapunzel and Eugene glanced over at it, "Well if we keep up this pace, we can make it to the Spire by nightfall." Suddenly the balloon sprung an air leak.
"We must have come too close to a wave!" Eugene said.
You looked around, "We weren't anywhere near a wave!" You exclaimed as the balloon started declining.
"Brace yourselves!" Rapunzel said. You quickly grabbed onto the side of the basket, not wanting to get injured. The balloon quickly fell to the ground hitting ice and rocks on its way down before hitting some ice and stopping. You stood up, wrapping your arms around yourself, it was freezing. "Everyone okay?" Rapunzel asked.
Eugene sent her a small smile, "All in once piece." He said softly.
"Yeah, what he said." You responded. The three of you got out of the downed balloon.
"What do you think took us down?" Eugene asked.
Rapunzel looked into the wind, her hair blowing, "I'm not sure. But I am sure this place doesn't get any warmer at night." She paused, looking down at the hot air balloon, "All right, guys, let's get sewing."

The group of you had been sitting down sewing for a while. The wind began getting worse, suddenly a loud sound echoed across the ice, "Hello-oh-oh-oh!" It sounded like someone calling out, but at the same time, it sounded like a wolf howling.
"Uh, any guesses as to what that might be?" Rapunzel asked, looking in the direction that it came from.
"Or who?" You asked quietly.
The noise happened again, the three of you stood up to try and see what was in the distance. A small woman with red hair came running through the snow.
"I saw your balloon go down! Were you coming to help me?" The woman asked, running toward the group. She slipped, landing on the ice and sliding down to where you three were. She stood up, almost slipping while trying to brush herself off and Rapunzel caught her.
