Trouble on Whale Island

Kurapika doesn't know how to answer her question.

"I honestly do not know. There is a reason why she is not with us today. However, you were meant to be here with me. I know it sounds strange, but that is how fate works." Kurapika answers to the best of his ability.

"Oh. I kind of get it. So she would have died some other way." says Scarlet.
"I...I don't know." says Kurapika.
"It's weird. I only met her as a baby, but it feels like I knew her for a long time." says Scarlet.
"You came from her. It's not weird at all." says Kurapika.

Scarlet yawns. Kurapika scratches her head until she falls asleep. He turns off his bedside lamp and goes to sleep.

The next morning, everyone meets up at the airport. Alluka is also there with her new husband, Takiyo.

"Aunt Alluka! I haven't seen you in forever!" exclaims Scarlet while she runs over to hug Alluka.
"I know! And guess what? I'll be your teacher again this school year!" says Alluka while hugging Scarlet and Juliette.
"Yay! Uncle Kurapika is too strict and he makes us listen to music without words." says Juliette.

Alluka laughs and she gives the girls each a kiss.

Leorio walks up to greet Kurapika.

"How do you feel about all of this?" asks Leorio.
"I don't know. I mean, it's Gon. I still can't believe he is going to be a father." answers Kurapika.
"I know what you mean." says Leorio.

Killua is standing next to Mina. He has one arm behind his neck and the other wrapped around Mina. Kurapika and Leorio walk up to them.

"Are you ready?" Leorio asks Killua.
"Whatever." answers Killua.

Killua is annoyed because he doesn't want to be in the same airship with Alluka's husband.

Alluka and Takiyo walk up to Killua and Mina.

"Hey, bro! Good to see you!" Takiyo excitedly greets Killua.
"I'm not your bro." says Killua.

They all board the airship and a few hours later, they land in an airport near Whale Island. They gather their luggage and board a ship that will take them to Whale Island.

Alluka and Takiyo stand next to the edge of the ship, looking out to the ocean. Killua, Kurapika, and Leorio stand behind them.

"Just one little push. That's all it will take." says Killua while pointing to Takiyo.
"Killua! Cut it out!" exclaims Leorio.
"Relax. I'm not serious." says Killua, smiling.

Whale Island is now visible. Kurapika picks Scarlet up and places her on top of his shoulders to give her a better view.

"Daddy, I want to see!" shouts Juliette when she notices Scarlet on Kurapika's shoulders.

Leorio places Juliette on top of his shoulders and both of the girls giggle in excitement.

Gon shouts to all of his friends as they get off of the ship. Killua runs to Gon and gives him a big hug.

"It's so great to see you!" exclaims Gon while hugging his best friend.

Alluka is next in line to hug Gon.
