Looking back at the second-years, his eyes trailing up and noticing a blue journal and a purple pen. Familiar blue journal and purple pen.
He finally looked up at her face - or at least, her side profile - and recognized the girl who'd bumped into him earlier. She was looking down at the notebook and writing something, not paying any attention to the kid, who looked like he was about to shit his pants, speaking on the stage. From where he sat, he could see a lot of crossed out words and small doodles.
Most likely sensing someone was looking at her, the girl looked up and noticed Baji's glance at her notebook, causing her to quickly close it and look away, holding the journal protectively in her hands.
Baji Keisuke has never really been interested in girls, but he had to admit that she was pretty, even if she had a scowl on her face.

Finally having finished her chores, Y/n sat down at her desk, where her notebook laid open, her favorite pen laying discarded right next to it. She couldn't help but cringe when she noticed all the crossed out ideas adorning the white paper, realizing that she hadn't made any process with the planning all day.
Just like the past three weeks.
She didn't get it. Usually, her mind was bursting with ideas. Before she slept, while she brushed her teeth, during classes and on the bus on the way to school - she was thinking of ideas for various stories around the clock, yet now that she had a solid plot idea for a potential book, her mind was blank. All the ideas she came up with sounded out of place or didn't appeal to her, thus ending up crossed out, never to be included.
Is this what writer's block feels like?
Leaning back in her chair, she sighed. This sucks ass.

School was, as expected, boring. Baji was simply staring out of the window the whole time, unintentionally tuning out his new homeroom teacher, his mind wandering to peyoung yakisoba instead. Thinking about the food made him hungry and he suddenly regretted not having breakfast before he left.
He tried to pay attention in class, he tried so hard. But it was just too boring.
It has been a week since school started and today was, thankfully, Friday. Classes have already started with the actual material and Baji wasn't sure what exactly was going on, but was hoping Chifuyu understood and would explain it to him later.
A knock on the door caused the teacher to stop talking about whatever he was saying and snapped Baji back to class. The teacher told whoever was at the door to come in and they slid the door to the side.
None other than that second-year girl stood there, a folder in her hands. ''L/n-san?'' The teacher probably knew what she was here for because she excused herself before leading the older student out of the classroom.
Once the teacher was out, the majority of the classroom burst into conversations ''Wait, that's L/n?'' one of the boys sitting behind Baji spoke, causing Baji's ear to unconsciously focus on the conversation.
''Yeah, I told you she's hot,'' another one said.
''How do you even know her? I doubt a hottie like her would hang out with a loser like you.''
''Haha, you're funny. My brother's in her class and has told me about her. He says she's always hunched over some notebook writing something and doesn't talk to many people, but he has so many speculations about what she could be doing.''
