You tried to not to think about those for now, and kinda wanna stay with Dream for a while.
Dream was a nice person, he mostly wear his mask when he's outside but when he's in his castle, he removes it.
And he's one of the things you've been thinking about lately, although he's not in the group of stuff you wanted to avoid

You were thinking about the favor he asked you.

"Why did he asked me for that?" You ponder while on the castle garden playing with pixies.

"So have you thought about it?" Dream suddenly appeared behind you that made you jump a little

"Why would you do that?!"

Dream laughed
"You're so deep in thought. Are you thinking about me?"

"NO!"

"Your cheeks says otherwise"

"No I'm not I was just- aren't you suppose to be out?"

"Well I am but I kinda missed you so I came back" Dream sat beside you while pixies fly around you. One wonderful thing about Dreamland is everything feels like fantasy, its a place where all you can see is like a dream but this time its real

"Yeah right" You laughed

"So how long do you plan to stay? I'm not asking you to leave of course but.. aren't your family worried? Don't you wanna atleast tell them where you are? that you're safe?" -Dream

"I want to but... its complicated" You hugged your knees
"I kinda don't wanna see them for now"

"Why?"

"Because.. ugh.. I guess right now you're my only friend that I could talk to.."

"Well- I don't think I wanna be friends with yo-"-Dream

"Then I won't tell you.."

"No no! Just kidding geez.. go on tell me I can be your friend for now I guess"

You felt relieved. Unlike Techno, you felt comfortable with Dream in a short amount of time

"Thank you. It's just.. When I was abducted.. the woman who kidnapped me told me something thats been bugging me since then. And it invloves my family and well uhh.. someone that I know. I kinda feel betrayed in a way.. no, I actually felt betrayed, and I feel like they've made fool of me"

"hmm.. why would you believe that woman?"-Dream

"Because it felt real.. its like she spat out facts! And its also making me angry that she found out and that I didn't! I've been questioning myself about it even before I was kidnapped and yet - some stranger found out about it!"

"You've been dodging the main point sweetheart, what did she tell you? why do you felt betrayed?" -Dream

"I uh.. me and my family were suppose to go out on a trip. Not really to relax, you know my family is all about business right?"

"Yeah. I know your family held one of the most notorious traders"-Dream

"Yes. And our first stop was Antartic Empire.."

"Oh. Huh.. so you guys were on a deal with King Philza?"-Dream

"Yes.. and for some reason the stupid deal is taking too long to get settled. I grew curious about it and even asked my sister and my parents about it. But they wont tell until... that woman told me what it was"

"Then? what was the deal about?"-Dream

"Its.. about me.. The king needs something very valuable from our family and in exchange, my parents asked King Phil to let one of his sons marry me"

Dream's eyes widened
"Woah that's.. I mean I am familiar with arrange marriage and stuff but.. and that's what's bothering you?"

"Yeah.. but not only that, Its also about Techno ..."

"Techno? okay? go on"

"Ever since we arrived in the castle, Techno has been trying to get close with me. He flirts with me and messes with me and - we kinda get close but after hearing about this stupid deal.. I feel like I was a fool for believing all of it and I'm having second thoughts"

Dream leaned back and let out a sigh
"I would be surprised if I get go see Techno like that. We're not really close but I can definitely tell you that Techno wasn't that social type of a person. After all he's the Blood God. Many fears him but he's more of a you know.. he doesn't want to interact with people"

You frowned
"Do you think... he's just forcing himself to.. be friends with me so that they could.. get what they want from our family?" You asked in a low and breaking voice, trying not to cry

Even though you tried, Dream can sense it.
Instead of answering the question he moved closer to you, ruffled your hair before wrapping his arms around you, to comfort you
"I'm in no position to say what's true or not.. But you can cry if you want to, don't hold it in"

Your eyes widened, as tears quickly escape your eyes. Looking up at Dream you hugged him as emotions explode out from you. You loudly sob

"It.. hurts..." you cried

All Dream could do is to caress your head while you cry.
He wanted to make comments, he wanted to ask you more yet he thought.. you needed someone to listen first

You two sat on the garden for quite a while, and you cried for a while too while Dream lets you.
You let it all out and it feels good to cry
