As the fight went on, I could feel myself growing exhausted. There were voices behind me, which I assumed was a conversation between Takemichi and the others, but it all just sounded like murmers as I was too engrossed with trying to keep up with my opponent, which was proving to be extremely difficult.

Taiju clicked his tongue as soon as he noticed that I was struggling to land my hits on him. That was when he decided he had had enough and, with a lot of strength, kicked my left leg with so much power that it had caused me to stumble and practically fall to the floor. I gasped and tried to get to my feet, but my knee felt like it had just been shattered completely. Instead, Taiju grabbed the neck of my sweater with one hand and lifted my body up with just that. I tried to pry his hands off so that he'd let go but it was useless seeing as he still had so much strength in him. "You're annoying," He scoffed before throwing me across the hall towards where everybody else was.

My body hit the floor so hard that I could tell it would all ache so much more later on. "(Y/N)!!" Takemichi screamed my name as he rushed to help me to my feet.

As I gripped the blonde's shoulder to keep myself steady, we heard Hakkai yell, "Takachan!"

The scene displayed itself before us. Mitsuya had appeared and he was tightly gripping a knife which Yuzuha was holding. When the hell did he get here?

He looked over at me with a serious face. And then glanced at Taiju. I recognised that expression: Mitsuya was mad. Very mad.

"Takemichi," He beckoned to the boy. "Take care of Yuzuha for me." He said as Takemichi obeyed and gently sat me down to lean on one of the benches before leaving my side to take the limp girl in his arms.

Mitsuya turned back to face the enemy, his eyebrows raised without a smile. "It's you and me now, motherfucker."

That was when the boy started going ham on the enemy. Everybody was completely smitten by the fight, especially me, who hadn't seen the lilac-haired boy fighting this hard in such a long time. But I could tell he only kept up the pace because he was doing it all for Hakkai.

And my suspicions were confirmed when Hakkai screamed for his captain, Chifuyu appeared and told everyone the real reason Mitsuya wasn't backing down was because of Hakkai.

With a grin, I looked over at the group of boys, and declared confidently, "Takashi isn't going down."

Takemichi smiled too at my words, "Yeah! Mitsuya isn't gonna lose!"

But if only that were true. Within the next minute, Mitsuya was down on the ground as the Black Dragons boy with the scar over his eye held a long metal pipe. Taiju smiled at the sight of his opponent on the floor as Hakkai screamed at the top of his lungs.

My eyes widened at the scene of Hakkai crouching over Mitsuya's bloodied body as he screamed his name and before I knew it, I was right next to him doing the same. Takemichi and Chifuyu hurled threats at the Black Dragons while I pulled Mitsuya to lean against the same bench that Yuzuha was knocked out on. "Guys wait," He called breathlessly to the two blondes that were rushing towards the enemy. They stopped to listen to his words.

The four of us gathered around the designer who gave us the situation. It was just us up against those three- Mikey wasn't coming. Takemichi fell cowardly at those words.

Mitsuya sighed, confessing that he didn't mean to put so much pressure on him, and continued to uplift Takemichi and the rest of us who were contemplating defeat. He constructed a plan of himself going against Taiju while the rest handled his two members.

Agreeing to it instantly, Takemichi and Chifuyu ran off to attack the two members of the black dragons. I turnesd back to Mitsuya with furrowed eyebrows. "I'll help you fight Taiju." I demanded.

The older boy gave me his classic relaxed look before shaking his head with a calm smile. "I appreciate your offering to help, (Y/N), but I want Hakkai to team up with me to fight his brother." I nodded understandingly at his request. Mitsuya got up slowly and placed a hand on my head before glancing at the first division members that were both struggling against the enemy. "Those guys, on the other hand, look like they need some help," He left that hint before turning back to Taiju. I looked down at my boots and obeyed his words.

Seeing as Takemichi was at least managing to cling to the black-haired boy, I prioritised Chifuyu who was taking a rough beating from the much paler guy with the peculiar scar on his face. Besides, I had a grudge against him from when he hurt Mitsuya. Completely disregarding the most likely-fractured leg, I pushed through the pain with the help of the adrenaline and ran as quick as light itself, appearing in front of the crouching Chifuyu in mere seconds, and blocked the other boy's attack with just an arm.

He and Chifuyu both looked shocked at my sudden intervension but before they had a chance to say anything I kicked the scar boy in the face. "(Y/N), the hell are you doing!?" Growled Chifuyu while stumbling to his feet. Scar boy said nothing but threw another fist which I blocked once more.

"You looked like you needed a little help, mister weirdo," I grinned at him over my shoulder.

The nickname from all those weeks ago sure pissed him off. Not a moment later, Chifuyu was next to me and punching our enemy in the stomach, "Quit calling me weird!" His angry tone made me supress a laugh.

But the joy in that moment was quickly washed away when the church hall went dead silent after a laugh from Taiju. Chifuyu and I stopped attacking the paler boy as we turned our attention to Hakkai who stood frozen in the aisle nervously.

"I'm sorry... Takachan."
