"How was your and your dad's hang out yesterday?" Shoyo smiled. "It was great we had so much fun." Kota smiled down at Shoyo. "What did you two do?" Shoyo looked at Kota. "Oh, we went to go out for breakfast, went to the mall, then went to the park, then we got home and just had fun." Shoyo left out some minor details not wanting to worry Kota. Kota nodded and looked ahead. "Sounded fun so nothing bad happened?" Shoyo shook his head and smiled. Kota smiled as well. 'I feel like he's lying.' Kota shrugged it off thinking he was just overthinking. The two high schoolers ran into the third years. "Oh, Hinata, Kota whats up." Shoyo smiled.
"Hey, Daichi san, Suga san, and Asahi san" Kota waved at the three. "Wanna walk with us?" Suga smiled. While Shoyo nodded and looked at Kota to make sure it was okay with him. Kota nodded as well. "Okay, let's go then." The 5 started walking together talking until they got to school. "I'll see you later Hinata." Shoyo smiled and waved Kota goodbye.
The four started walking to the gym together. Shoyo had the key and went to go unlock the door while the third years went to go change. 'Ug, I'm so sleepy.' Shoyo pouted thinking to himself. Shoyo walked in and went towards the storage closet about to get everything out. That's when he saw Kiyoko walk in. "Kiyoko you're here early." Shoyo ran out of the closet holding the net. "Oh, yeah my mom dropped me off." Shoyo smiled. "Well, good I don't have to deal with these zombies." Kiyoko laughed and started helping Shoyo set up the gym for morning practice.
Everyone walked into the gym and started morning practice. Shoyo was taking notes Kiyoko was just watching. "Sho chan." Shoyo was still writing notes. "hmm?" Kiyoko then looked at Shoyo. "I want Yach chan to join as a manager." Shoyo eyes widened he does have to admit he wants Yachi to be the manager here as well.
"Me too but I don't know how to get her to join." Kiyoko pouted. "Oh." Kiyoko stopped pouting after Shoyo said that. "Hm, what's wrong Sho chan?" Shoyo rubbed the back of his head. "When are the inter-high prelims?" Kiyoko jumped back and started thinking. "Should be in a month." Shoyo jumped back. "Then they have to start practicing more." Kiyoko nodded. "But we have to wait for Takeda sensei to announce it. He'll probably announce it during afternoon practice." Shoyo nodded and sat back down and started writing down notes again.

"See everyone during afternoon practice." Shoyo waved the team goodbye as he walked with Kiyoko. "So, how about we invite Yachi after inter-high prelims." Kiyoko was shocked by Shoyo suggestion. "I guess." Shoyo then smiled they then saw Yachi walking she looked up at the two. "Oh Kiyoko senpai and Shoyo." Yachi ran over to them Kiyoko was rubbing the back of her head. "You don't have to say 'senpai'." Yachi was shocked by this but nodded.
Shoyo sighed. "Wanna walk with us Yachi" Yachi nodded with a smile. The three started walking to Kiyoko's class. "Well, I'll see you two at lunch." Shoyo and Yachi nodded and the two left to go to their class. "So, when are you gonna ask Kiyoko out." Yachi turned red and looked at Shoyo. "W-what do you mean?" Shoyo grinned. "You know ask out Kiyoko as in like ask her to be your girlfriend." Yachi wanted to die at that moment. "I don't have the courage to." Shoyo tilted his head. "Why?" Yachi pouted. "I don't know every time I want to ask her something I go up to her and my courage deflates." Shoyo nodded understanding what Yachi is trying to say.
