He kept his strings too tight to let his heart play along but Jungkook was making it very difficult.
"B-because I missed you… and it's tough to act cool when we have so many eyes on us. And you're not even kissing me now when I need it is so bad." Saying this, tears in his eyes were suddenly visible which Jungkook feared the most.
The artist was all too soft with this and he chose to drop his toughness and get as soft as he could to kiss him as per his demand.
Jungkook's one of the weaknesses is of course Taehyung's demands for which he could do anything.
He suddenly felt very sorry to even be a little tough on him so he kissed him as gently as he could, curling his one of the arms around Taehyung's back of shoulders who let himself melt into his arms and kiss as much as he could.
His heart was soaring, he didn't want to detach, he didn't want to let go, he hated reality more than anything. He just hated being this way.
He hated to be silent but he had to be.
He wouldn't show it but every article published about Jungkook was cut and pasted in his personal diary safely. He was obsessed to see him grow and achieve what he deserves and to save it he was ready to sacrifice it all.
They didn't care about where they were and at what time when those lips played along with each other.
If it could be possible to conserve a feeling forever, Taehyung was more than just willing to save the feelings of this moment. He wanted to feel this forever.
Only if he could save anything, he would firstly choose their love.
The need of air had Jungkook detaching away but Taehyung still didn't open up his eyes. He knew if he would, he wouldn't be able to look at him the same way. He would cry. He didn't want to give him any clue.
Jungkook stared down at him, mesmerised by his face, his gestures and the way his mysterious face looked very vulnerable at the moment when those long eyelashes rested against his cheeks.
Jungkook didn't know why, why some part of him wasn't satisfied and why the uneasiness didn't completely settle down in him.
Maybe because he too wasn't prepared to not see Taehyung around him at his place for a while now? Or maybe he too was unsure, what next?
Will things be the same for them once Taehyung gets his diploma?
What he didn't have an idea about was that their story, for now, had to take a break here.
Despite all those insecurities and fear they were so much into each other at that moment but soon some footsteps echoed in the gallery outside and Jungkook detached completely, letting Taehyung go.
"I'll see you later, yeah?" Jungkook said one last time before pulling away completely as he took steps backwards, his hand still into Taehyung's.
The brunet didn't want him to go. He hated how with every moment passing by his grip on him was just loosening.
Taehyung held his hand a bit too firmly while Jungkook only kept walking back.
"Don't worry. You'll do your best. Okay?" Jungkook tried to pull up his courage for his finals but Taehyung didn't want to do his best without him.
"I love you." Jungkook whispered lastly, pulling his hand back as he stepped backwards until he had to leave.
The moment Taehyung lost his grip on him, he wanted to run back in time. He just wanted to start everything all over again.
Jungkook, being completely oblivious, just waved his hand to him, showing a smile the brunet was completely smitten by.
He kept staring at Jungkook with longing eyes until he walked away, thinking of meeting Taehyung soon but this wasn't going to happen.
