"Spare Oom" Lucy exclaimed, looking at everyone in confusion before running past the lamppost and her siblings. It sounded so familiar to Katherine, as if she and Lucy had laughed over those funny words before. Immediately she took off after Lucy, hurrying to keep up.

"Wait here!" She told Raiden as she took off, still holding the coat tightly in her hand.

"Lucy!" Peter called after her before Katherine shot past him too, "Katherine?"

"Not again" Susan muttered as she picked up her skirts to chase after the two.

Edmund and Peter made haste to follow them as Katherine and Lucy dashed through the yellowing round leaves. Lucy leading the way. She reached her hand back and Katherine clasped it tightly as the two moved on further down the imaginary path they were following. 

"Lu?" Peter called in confusion as he caught up to the two, "Katie?"

"Come on!" Lucy cried out and Katherine turned back to him smiling brightly, "This way!"

The branches started to get denser and soon it was hard to see each other, Katherine's hand started slipping from Lucy's as they continued to push through the thicket.

"Ow!" Susan exclaimed looking back at Edmund as something pricked her shoulder. Edmund continued, trying to struggle through the pine trees, not noticing his sister's words.

As Peter moved further into the forest, something brushed aside him that made him look in confusion as he pushed on, "These aren't branches"

Meanwhile, Edmund who was moving in closer began to shout in protest and pain. Susan upon further inspection of the material answered in surprise, "They're coats!"

"Susan!" Edmund shouted, "You're on my foot"

Katherine, who had been forced to let go of Lucy's hand was now being squished in between Edmund and Susan.

"Edmund" she scolded, "You're elbowing me"

"Peter, move off!" Lucy protested.

"Stop shoving!" Peter called back at the four behind him.

"Stop it! I'm not on your toe!" Edmund yelled.

"Yes you are!" Katherine exclaimed with irritation. Then all of a sudden a door opened on the other side, letting light flood in as Peter fell out the wardrobe. Lucy following quickly, then Edmund, half pulling out Katherine with him so that she had to fall to the right so that she wouldn't fall directly on Lucy. She felt Susan also fall behind her, landing on her knees.

She looked down to see that she had half fallen on a younger Peter and slid off quickly so that he could move. Then she looked around at the others before looking at her small, non-calloused hands. She turned to see the others also looking around in equal surprise, and she turned to make eye contact with Peter, both staring at each other in shock.

Suddenly the door jerked open, and they turned to see Professor Kirke walking in. Looking at him in shock they were surprised to see him holding their cricket ball in his hand.

"Oh, there you are!" he exclaimed in surprise before giving them a mischievous smile, "What were you all doing in the wardrobe?" 

They all looked at each other debating on what to say before Peter turned back to look at him, "You wouldn't believe us if we told you, sir"

The Professor gave a faux hurt look before tossing the ball to Peter, who caught it quickly before looking up again as the Professor replied with that same mischievous grin, "Try me!"
