Love with strings detached

Chapter 35

"Happy birthday, I wish you the best," I say with my turn, hugging him.

"Thank you, thank you. Now that you two are here the real fun can begin," he says motioning us with his hand to follow him.

The place is decorated with balloons and birthday banners and the LED lights are on, giving a light blue hue to the place.

The dining table which is where Liam lead us has been cleared apart from plastic red cups that are placed in a triangle on each side.

"Beer pong time people!" Aaron yells.

"Let's turn up the heat!" Liam shouts, chucking down the drink he has in his hand.

"Let's split up though in two teams," Zoe says loudly over the music playing in the background.

"We're twelve people so, perfect six and six on each side," Thomas says. 

"Okay so, Thomas, Amelia, Daisy, Emma, Julian and Caleb one team and the rest of us the other one," Liam says as we stand across the long table from them.

Zoe is on the same team as Aaron which is surprising but then again, it's just a game.

"I have to warn you, I'm good at this," Caleb says as he takes the front place going up against Theo.

"Thank you for the unimportant information," Theo says, picking up the clean ping pong ball.

"We'll see if it's unimportant in a minute my friend," Caleb says smiling.

Theo throws the ball and it comes centimetres close to a cup but fails to get in.

"Damn," Liam mumbles.

Caleb picks up the ball and successfully throws it in a cup making us cheer.

"Rember my words next time mate," Caleb says, winking at him as he shakes his head and takes out the ball, drinking the liquid.

"Make out with a person of your choice of the opposite team," he reads the label stuck on the bottom of the cup before putting it away.

"I wonder who he's going to choose," Thomas says, making us burst out laughing.

Theo comes to me and grips the back of my head kissing me.

"Woohoo," I hear someone cheer.

His lips are soft, contrasting perfectly with the harshness that he's pressing them against mine. As his tongue collides with mine I can taste the beer he just drank. I bring one hand on his shoulder and the other in his hair as my upper lip slides between his.

"The first kiss goes to Daisy and Theo, it was a nice opening guys," Liam yells as Theo pulls away going back to his spot.

Well, there goes my lip gloss!

"Next ones, Emma against Liam," Aaron says as they take place.

Emma missed and Liam lands it in.

"Bite the bottom lip of someone on the opposite team," she says, hiding her face in her hands afterwards as some start laughing.

"Go, Emma!" Julian shouts as she approaches the other guys.

Our jaws drop on the floor once Emma latches her teeth on Miles's bottom lip, shocking him as well.

"Holy shit!" Caleb yells. 

Emma comes running back and hugs me.

"Aww," Aaron says before laughing.

The next ones are Amelia and Miles and he lands it in while she misses.

"Grind on someone of your choice and whisper against their lips I'm coming," she says, shaking her head.
