"Erm..I-.." -he started, but before he knew his dad came to the rescue
"Hey now, he's sick. Let him at least get dressed and eat something warm. You can bomb him with the questions later." - His dad, Masaaki, spoke as he put his hand on Umeji's shoulder

Both girls frowned at his words and his sister huffed as well, but on the other side big rock fell off Umeji's chest.

"Well then...I guess we will have to wait because I have to go to school now. Move, I have to brush my teeth." - Ayame said while sulking
"Pft, brat." - Umeji annoyed her and took the clothes off of the washing machine

His sister only rolled her eyes and continued her normal routine.

"I'll go make you something warm and no school today I don't care what your excuse is." - Dai said strictly and left
"Well, your mother is right, in this state you can't go anywhere," Masaaki, added while checking the time on his watch "I have to go now kids, I'll see you later today, bye."

"Bye dad! See you!"
"Ugh..okay, bye.."

Umeji's mood was totally ruined. Today nothing is going his way, which scared him to death.
He slowly walked out of the bathroom and made his way to the bedroom.
His legs are still aching so much, as soon as he sat on the bed, every single muscle in his body was relaxed.

"Ah.." - he breathed out and slowly took off the only thing that kept him from being fully naked

He put the towel on the bed next to him and now resting on his elbows, breathing slowly and deeply. Desperately trying to feel better.

"Y/n.."
"I'm sorry I can't be with you today..I was so worried about you, I forgot to take care of myself and now I can't even see you.." - he whispered to himself, regret in his low voice

"I'll never forgive myself if something happens to you.."

Up until now, Umeji was ignoring it but the coldness he was feeling is freezing him to death.

With his shaky hands he took his underwear and put it on, right after he took his favorite black and white hoodie and black sweatpants.

"Seems like mom knows what I like to wear." -delinquent softly smiled

"Still..she should've let me go to school.." -he commented again, visible sadness and anger in his face

"Whatever I'll text her-..wait am I being way too clingy..?" - Umeji asked himself and looked at the ceiling
"I don't wanna bug her..UGH! This sucks..wait what time is it??" - he turned on his phone
