Barret grabbed other pair of sunglasses before he puts on the sunglasses on his face before telling all of us, "She's tougher than me." Barret said to us with a smile on his face. Barret started talking to us again, "Aight! Time to get some payback." Barret said to us in happy tone. Cloud turned around to look at Barret before telling him, "Don't forget why we're doing this." Cloud said to Barret. Barret was looking at Cloud before telling him, " I know, I know. To rescue Aerith and Lukas." Barret said to us before he points at me and Cloud before he lower his finger down. Me and Cloud looked at each other before we started walking away from Elmyra place, "So, how're we supposed to get topside? With everything that's happened, the trains still aren't running." Tifa said to us. Barret started talking to Tifa before telling her, "Well, we could walk along the tracks." Barret said to us. Cloud look back at Barret before telling him, "The city's on high alert. All the roads and public transit have probably been locked down by now." Cloud said to Barret. I turned my head to look at Barret before telling him, "Cloud's right, we don't know of what we are walking ourselves into. After what happened last night there is going to be a lot of guards there that are going to patrol the area and I think that there is going to be more guards there then before." I said to Barret.
Barret was looking at me and Cloud before he asked us, "So what's the plan then? You two know another way up?" Barret asked us. Tifa got in the conversation as well, "No, but I think I know someone who might." Tifa said to us. Me and Cloud knew where this was coming and we knew there was no other choice, "You mean Corneo." Me and Cloud said to Tifa. Tifa stay quiet, so we didn't say much after that. All of us started running before all of us stop running to hear a voice of a woman talking to someone, we got a little closer to see a woman start talking to a crowd of people, "So, after bombing Reactors 1 and 5, what do the eco-terrorists do?" The woman asked her crowd of people. The crowd were quiet before the woman started talking again, "They go for the trifecta and take out Mako Reactor 7! Another attack by amateurs who don't care about collateral damage. The sky is falling and Avalanche is to blame! But wait! Did you know Wutai is the one funding their activities!? For all their claims about fighting for the slums... they're nothing more than pawns of Wutai-puppets dancing to the tune of their foreign masters! And that's the truth! Topside news delivered straight to your ears! That'll be five gil-come on!" The woman yelled out to the people that are listening to her. I could tell Barret look really pissed and Tifa look scared and worry, "Damn, man! Knew we couldn't trust Wutai to leave us alone." one of the residents said to their selves.
We hear a lot of people talking about Avalanche, we hear Barret muttered under his breath, "We ain't no damn pawns of Wutai! I couldn't care less about the rest, but that shit?" Barret asked himself. Me and Cloud looked at each other because we knew Barret was going to do something, but Tifa grab Barret's arm so Barret couldn't go walking towards to the people that are standing and listening to the woman that was talking about the news, "No one will listen to us. There's no point in even trying." Tifa said to Barret. Barret was looking at Tifa before his face look piss before he calm down himself. Barret started to move his arm to be relax before Tifa told Barret, "I'm sorry." Tifa said to Barret. Barret is looking at Tifa before he started talking to Tifa, "Hey... Hey Tifa, listen. There's no room in this for regrets or what-ifs or any of that. All we can do is keep moving forward. Keep following this path we chose. Wherever, so we can say we did all we could." Barret said to Tifa. Tifa was looking down before telling Barret, "I know. But...right now...instead of looking forward, you need to look around." Tifa said to Barret. Tifa was quiet before she started talking to Barret again, "Everyone here is terrified. So I'm asking you...don't." Tifa said to Barret. Me and Cloud just walk around the crowd because it was not worth it and also there might be people that might need our help from all the damage that has happened from the big explosion that happened in the slums.
