"It was funny. Your brother screamed.
I had to calm him down and explain why I was here. It was stupid He soon calmed down and told me you were up here." Killer explained laying down on his back next to Nightmare.

"You probably scared him half to death." Nightmare turning his head so he could see Killer.

Both were quiet for a moment.

"..You two don't seem very close."

Nightmare turned away from Killer, staring at the ceiling.

"When we were six, we were inseparable. Now we hate each other.
Simple as that. Actually it's more like I hate him and he still loves me, obviously."

Killer nods while looking at the side of Nightmare's face. In all honesty, whenever he was with Nightmare he was always interested in what he had to say.

It was strange. Killer usually wasn't ever able to feel anything for anyone.

"Uhm. Ehem.. Nightmare?"

Nightmare and Killer lifted their head to the sound of Dream's voice.

"What do you want, Dream?" Nightmare asked sitting up on the edge of the bed.

If Killer has irises he'd be rolling them.
Dream ruined a perfectly good moment. This was the closest he's ever been with Nightmare.

It was honestly an addiction to Killer when Nightmare and him were alone together and that feeling of a special connection sparking loudly.

"Dinners ready.." Dream says doing his best to smile brightly.

"Alright." Nightmare said standing up and stretching.

Killer mimicked Nightmare's actions and followed Nightmare into the hall and down the stairs.

"Hehe.. you're friend gave me quite the scare earlier, Nightmare.." Dream says watching Nightmare sit down at the table with Killer. "I think it's nice you're making friends, Nighty."

Dream never received an answer.
The three ate in complete silence.

Killer and Nightmare were done first.

Nightmare had taken Killer and his plate to the sink and quietly washed them before taking Killer by the wrist and hurrying back to his room.

"What time is it?" Killer asked sitting back down on Nightmare's bed.

Killer's only been at Nightmare's place for an hour and a half and it was already getting very dark.

"Seven twenty three." Nightmare responded shutting the door quietly.

"You want to go to the gas station?"

Nightmare locked eye contact with Killer before shrugging.

"Actually.. Sure, why not."

Killer smiled widely. "Somehow I knew you would agree."

"You just seem to know everything, don't you." Nightmare says grabbing a sweater at random and sliding on his shoes.

"What are we even going to get at the gas station?" Nightmare asked while picking up his wallet from his desk and taking a twenty from it.

"I don't know, candy?"

"I don't like sweet things."
Nightmare said bluntly.

"You never fail to surprise me."

"I just want some black coffee mix and some flavorless gum."

"Flavorless gum is a thing?"

"Duh."

"The more you know, I guess"

Nightmare opened his bedrooms door and walked down the hall with Killer close behind.

Dream watched the two without a word as they came down the stairs, outside, and into the night.

Nightmare and Killer turned right using the light from the moon as their guide.

"..You're eye is glowing.." Killer said after noticing the bright teal light coming from Nightmare's face.

"Hm, yea it does that in the dark."

Killer could swear there was even a short tint of purple within the teal.

"Holy shit. It amazes me how you can be so mesmerizing."

Nightmare flinched at the 'complement' trying to ignore the very very light blush rushing over his cheeks.

At time like these he hated that he got flustered and embarrassed so easily.

"You really need to get over you're flirting problem."

Killer frowned slightly at Nightmare's words. Nightmare was trying to brush the fact Killer had said a strange complement to him with the fact Killer flirted with everyone.

The gas stations light seemed to fill the whole street it was located in.

"It always surprises me how close everything is to each other." Nightmare says as Killer opens the door for him.

"Soon, for us, every thing won't be as close. Won't have to be somewhere so small." Killer said picking up everything Nightmare had planned getting.

Killer looked up and grinned as he watched the the gas stations employee leave the counter to help the older lady in the station get something.

The gas station was way to poor to even afford cameras so Killer had nothing to worry about.

Nightmare gasped quietly as Killer took him by the hand and forced him outside without making a noise.

When the two were outside, Killer had started running in a random direction with Nightmare still in his grip.

The strength Killer had in his hold surprised a lot more than it should have.

"Killer- I- what!? I didn't know you were into that kinda stuff." Nightmare said doing his best to keep up with Killer.

Killer slowed down enough for Nightmare to jog next to him.

"I hope you don't plan on going back to you're house." Killer said walking to some random persons house.

The person house was blaring with loud music. Drunks were everywhere.
It was normal in this town for there to be party's all the time.

"Oh, trust me. I'm not." Nightmare said no longer caring about not getting drunk as hell in a strangers house.
