"This can't go out, please ensure that," Jimin instructed Sumuni.
"What if he is lying, Jimin? Anyone would, to be with you." She thundered loudly, getting up from the bed and crossing her arms across her chest offensively.
Jimin closed his eyes shut as he calmly inhaled and composed himself. "No, he is not lying and I could tell. She... She has my fragrance."
"Come on, Jimin! It could be a coincidence," Sumuni spoke with annoyance as she threw her hands around scathingly. "How can you be so confident over nothing? Did you at least get a DNA test done?"
"I did not. I don't need to. She has his eyes and my lips. She has my fingers, she has his hair. she is a kind, I can't do that to her." Jimin said dismissively and stood up from the bed.
"Really, Jimin! You don't want to do that to a 4-year-old who does not understand anything or is it that you don't want to do that to Jungkook? You don't want him to think that you don't trust him, isn't it?" Sumuni held Jimin's arms and shook him. "Why do you care about him?"
"I don't." Jimin respectfully shifted her away. "If you are suggesting that I have feelings for him, I don't. It was a one-night thing and now we have to make the best out of this situation." He replied, yet calmly.
"The one-night thing that brought about that abomination in the world." Sumuni snarked while rolling her eyes and scoffing.
As if Jimin's patience ran thin, he growled in a dangerously low rasp and demeanour shifted to abject anger."Get. Out. Right. Now."
Looking at the hot-to-trot man, Sumuni blenched. She lunged at him and hugged him. "I am sorry, Jimin. I don't know what I was saying, it's just too much to take for me. Please understand from my perspective that I didn't wake up this morning and think that I might meet your daughter... Please, Jimin..."
As she began to cry, Jimin sighed. "Let's just go. I don't want negative energy around my kid. She has suffered enough, all she is going to get now is peace and luxury. If you can understand me, you are welcome to stay and if not, I would choose my family over anyone." Jimin pulled away from the hug and walked right out.
How can this toddler become so important to you so suddenly? Sumuni thought. I am not going to just sit here and be a placeholder, waiting for that Jungkook to fuck me over.
Jimin when came out in the living room, he found Jungkook with a gloomy face. Not wanting to discuss anything, he continued walking out and patted Hoseok's shoulder.
The older nodded as if he understood what he had to do. Placing a peck on Dahlia's cheek, that caused the girl to smile bright, Jimin sauntered off to the elevator and disappeared.
Sumuni followed behind soon after.
"Do you like it when Jimin goes out with her?" Hobi asked and Jungkook scoffed, perplexed.
Is this man for real? I thought he was cool when I watched him on the TV. Jungkook thought. "It's none of my business."
**
In the late evening, Jimin knocked over the door of Jungkook's bedroom. "Did I disturb something?" He asked with an anxious face when the boy answered.
"Of course not." Jungkook shook his head, smiling. Jimin didn't establish eye contact and motioned three men to bring in the big red boxes.
"What is all this?" Jungkook stepped out of the room and curiously looked at the men putting the boxes on the rugged floor.
