Suddenly Nightmare flies down towards me, before I can do anything, he hits me with a strong stream of brown gas, causing me to be thrown back into a building, breaking the glass window.
"EJ! You okay?" Ashlyn asks through my earpiece.
I look down to see a glass shard in my arm. I pull it out and blood starts dripping from my arm, it doesn't hurt as much as it looks like it does. "Yeah, I'm good," I say getting up and walking out the building.
"Shouldn't you kids be in school?" Nightmare raises his hands and a big truck starts to float in the air. He throws it at us, when it's in distance, I run up to it and give it a hard punch, ending it flying back into the air.
Lily snaps her glowing fingers, the car in the air glows a bright green and transforms into butterflies that fly into the air. "That works, too," Nini says.
"You can't stop me!"
"Watch us!" Ricky says. a blast of gold psionic energy expels from his hands onto the ground propelling himself up, flying into the air and his eyes start glowing. He raises his hands and the rubble, surrounded by gold energy levitates. Nightmare falls off and lands on the ground. Ricky tries to throw the rubble at him but Nightmare dodges and hits him with brown fog.
Before he can hit the ground hard, cause he's so high up in the air, I throw out my hands and create a red bubble around him, protecting his fall. When the force field hits the ground and stops bouncing, the red bubble vanishes. "Thanks!" He says.
"You can't stop fear! I am fear!" He yells laughing.
"And I am Lighting!" Nini says. She runs towards a transmission pole and touches it. Blue electricity starts to flow from the pole into her body until her skin starts glowing blue. She becomes of sentiment lighting and flies above us.
She creates an electrical rope the wraps around Nightmare's waist. She raises her hand and spins around, lifting him into the air and slamming him into the ground, creating a massive dent. Howie then creates a giant ball of lunar energy and he pushes Nightmare under the concrete street.
"Nice job" Ricky gave Nini a hive five, of course, after she transforms back to her normal state.
"And another safe. Thank you, Elite Force" the newswoman pops out of nowhere, but we don't question it, at least not out loud.
"Where'd she come from?" I ask Gina. She shrugs her shoulder and we both laugh.
Suddenly, Nightmare shoots out of the street and flies in the air. "THIS ISN'T OVE!!" He yells flying into the air.
"Go after him!" Ashlyn and Uncle Dennis say through the earpiece in unison. We all take off into the sky and follow him. We end up following him into the woods and leading us to a cave, but he's nowhere to be found.
"Where is he?" Lily asks.
"Right here."
We turn around and see Nightmare. He hits us with brown gas clouding our vision. When we can finally see, he's gone, with any luck he went in that cave, he did lead us here, it's probably his lair.
"Should we check it out?" I ask my uncle.
"No, not right now, we don't know what's down here. Tell you what, I'll find more heroes to back you up, but for now, don't go, come back."
We nod our heads and fly back transforming out of our suits. We're about to leave but Gina grabs my hand.
"So can I come over, to work on our project?" She asks. I quickly nod my we get in my car. I drop Nini at her house, Ricky at Big Red's, so now it's just her and me. We're in my room, thinking of what to do.
