"It all started when Headmaster Ozpin came to our house, he said he had some bad news for us. He...he said that mom wasn't coming back. I was sad. Yang was sad, everybody was sad.

And as the strike hit, Jaune suddenly didn't feel any pain, rolling back up he could see the reason why. "What the?" Looking at himself he sees he was incased in an aura of purple, both him and Cardin.
The reason for that was because behind him was the one and only Surveyor Rose! The Servitor yells with a metallic groan, ready to help.
"Surveyor!" Ruby yelled.
"Thanks buddy!" Jaune said, Surveyor replying with a "Affirmative" in his own language. Jaune charged at the Grimm ready for a second attack, but was knocked away once more.
The Servitor quickly floated to Jaune, the Ether still attached to him, getting up Jaune looks to his Aura on his scroll and sees it fully green.
"Wow, thanks Surveyor." Jaune says, the Servitor replying with a "Welcome." The Giant Bear Grimm approaches with a roar, and Jaune charged with a yell.
Then from out of nowhere Ruby could hear Surveyor speak, "Ether Reserves, Gone." And the Purple Aura gives out on Jaune without him noticing, the two charge at each other and were quick.
It looked as if the two would trade blows, but with a trained eye you could see that the Ursa would strike first, and with Jaune's invincibility gone it could very well put him in a compromising position.
"Something that can not happen." Thinks Pyrrha as she raises her hand and uses her semblance, with a dark outline on her hand she moves Jaune's downed shield upwards, and then the Ursa's paw hit.
But with sparks flying off the shield so did the paw and with one big step, Jaune jumped and sliced the Grimm's neck, taking off the head of the large beast.
The battle was won, with Jaune coming out as the victor.
Ruby with her goggles was looking at Pyrrha with awe, "Whoa...Was that, your semblance?" "How did you-?" Weiss was slightly asking
"Well, Ruby has her speed, you have your glyphs. My semblance is Polarity."
"Whoa..." With a smile Ruby decided to be witty, "So you can control poles?"
"No you dunce, it means she has control over magnetism."
"I know, I know..." Ruby says deflated, her joke taken serious. "Wait, where are you going?" Weiss says as Pyrrha tries to leave.
"Yeah, we gotta tell them what happened."
"We could...Or perhaps we could just keep it our little secret." Pyrrha says, watching Jaune sheath his weapon and her leaving.
"Okay! You can go on ahead Weiss, I'm going to stay behind and check on Surveyor." With a nod, her partner turned and walked away as well, with Ruby watching Jaune and Cardin talk.
But when she looked at Surveyor she noticed something odd, he was staring at a part of the Forest with Jaune and Cardin behind him. "What in the-?"
"They're here." She heard him say through the SCD, as Jaune was walking to Surveyor and Cardin walking away past Ruby.

"Hey, thanks for the help Surveyor. Now come on, we should probably head back to the others huh?" Jaune said to the unmoving Servitor.
Surveyor makes a metallic groan, "Um...Sorry but I can't understand you buddy." He said, but before he could say anything else, Jaune heard the trees and bushes rustling in front of him.
"Huh?" Was all he uttered before Jaune saw something jumped out of the brush, a being taller than him.

It was none other than a Reaver Vandal
"What in the-?" Jaune said extremely confused, and as the Vandal seemed hesitant looking at the Servitor and Jaune, it decided to make a call behind it.
To Jaune he couldn't understand what it was saying as it spoke a different language, Ruby more so as she was rushing right next to Jaune.
"Ruby? When did you get here?" He asked, "Just now, I was looking for Surveyor and What in the world is that?!" She said, scanning the Vandal with her goggles.
The only thing she could get from the being was it's weapon, a very strange weapon with no known part in her database.
"Beep Beep" she heard Surveyor said.
"What?" Suddenly from behind the Bug like being, other more smaller beings rushed out with a couple looking like the first one.
What the two Remnantians didn't know, was that this was the House of Grimm deserters, and they all ran behind and hid both behind Jaune and Ruby, but they mostly did it because what they saw was a living Servitor.
And then one last being came out, this was A Fallen Captain of the deserters, and like him he ran to the Servitor but stood in front of it and the humans. The Reaver Vandal started talking with him, and then the Servitor started to translate.
"-Are you thinking?! Humans!?"
"They have a Servitor! We have no choice!"
"But placing our lives in the hands of these, humans? I don't think it was a wise one!"
"Hey! Who even are you guys?" Ruby asked
"Quiet!" The Captain said moving his hand in front of his mandibles in a shushing motion, "Damn humans..."
"Well what are we supposed to do? House Grimm is quickly approaching, we need their help!"
"For a child of a Fearless Legend, why are you a coward."
"House Grimm? What do you mean by that?" Ruby asks the two arguing Fallen, The Captain and the Vandal both stunned.
"You...Understand us?" The Vandal said, "Well...Not exactly, but I think my friend here is translating for you." She says, referring to Surveyor.
"Of course...Hmm, if a Servitor has chosen you, then you may have some use." The Captain begrudgingly accepts.
"RAAAGGHH!!" They all could hear, with the Fallen cowering behind the fighters. "This is no time for petty squabbles, we must prepare for House Grimm." The Reaver Vandal said, pulling out his Shrapnel Launcher.
"So be it." The Captain said, Shock Blades at the ready.
"Ruby, what the heck is going on?" Jaune had to ask, "Grimm are coming, and looks like we have to protect these guys here." She said referring to the Fallen Deserters behind her.
"Right, protecting a bunch of bug people from Grimm, I can do that." Jaune said a little shakily.
"The bug I see here is you human." The Captain said offended.
RRRAAAGGHH
"Here they come!" The Reaver Vandal said, with Jaune and Ruby both battle ready with their weapons, and out from the bushes came charging Fallen Grimm.
