"Yes," I said with a confident smile.
"And Bhaiya says that I'm obsessed with Keshav. Look at you sending poetry to so far in Srirangam."
"Well, he will accept whatever I give out of love. So, I don't care if Mamashree thinks that this is crazy."
Maa chuckled and shook her head.
"Alright, my sweet. Now, I'll get this sent by post. Anything else the princess wants?" Maa asked.
"No." I smiled. Because what I really want is already going to happen. I just want to see the shocked look on Virat's face when he sees dad here. Oh, boy. I wish I could see the look on his face. You know when Salman Khan made his entry in the movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The way everyone was left shocked, Virat is also going to be shocked just the same.
Honestly, I so badly shipped Aman and Anjali but that stupid Rahul!!! Like Aman loved her so much and she deserved who loved her right from the start and made her his first choice rather than the second choice.
Well, at least my Anjali and Aman will get together. Because let's face it my dad is way more handsome than Salman Khan. And my Anjali was incomparable. I'm their Anjali junior, playing parents' trap.
I chuckled mischievously thinking of the moment they both will be before each other. Then laughing like Dr Jackal thinking of Virat's face.
Bada aaya maa ko impress karne wala.
As if that joker will ever manage to separate maa and papa. Humph...
"Adya, please don't get any ideas. You're making me worry that you're cooking up something." Maa commented. "I'm going to be in a lot of trouble. Your face gives off that air."
"I don't give off any air of trouble. Who says it is some trouble? What if it is your sweet Kanna going to come and..." I dramatized Krishna carrying off Rukmini and teased her.
Maa rubbed her temples. "You need to stop getting ideas. One, Kanna is not going to come here. Two, there no 'my sweet Kanna'. There has not been a person born till now that can catch my attention." Maa said and took the envelope in her hands. She had been dressed for work.
A beautiful white skirt with golden borders. A blue full-sleeved top with embroidery on it. She had a bindi on her forehead. Rings in her hands. She put her ray bans on and her assistant took her purse. Her four-inch heels add to her already 6'4 height. Bright diamond and teal blue choker necklace.
I used to assume that I was good with fashion but she was my mother. Way ahead of me.
She then left.
I grinned and laughed. "Well, Ranganatha was never 'born'. So, yeah, the path is clear."
I whistled away happily.
I lazily lay over the couch and read a book. Re-reading Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows.
"Alaknanda." I sighed mentally on heard Mamashree's voice.
"Yes?"
"Get up." He told me. He sounded dead serious.
Oh, come on. He couldn't have found out just yet. Cannot have him lay siege on my plans.
"We aren't here to hide."
Oh, okay. He hasn't found out yet. Calm. Relax. Everything is under control. Mission Drama abort.
"So, I guess this hyper seriousness is because you want to train me."
"Yes. This is not a game, Alaknanda. I cannot hide you forever. At some point, you will have to come out of the shadows. Let's hope it is before your father decided to end the entire race of daityas and danavas in revenge."
