Dan paused, before wondering aloud, “What exactly do you want, then?”
Phil gathered all his courage before he stammered, “Well… I… We haven’t exactly known each other long at all, but. It kind of feels like we have, you know? I. Well. Sorry. I’m really not good at anything like this. But. I mean. Would you maybe possibly be. um. My boyfriend?”
Dan squealed softly, covering his mouth in hopes that Phil couldn’t hear, then raised his voice a tiny bit and replied, “Yes, of course!”
“I like you a lot,” Phil whispered, wiping his sweaty palms on the side of his skinny jeans, a huge, radiant grin residing on his face.
“I like you loads,” he shot back quickly, his stomach churning in excitement.
**times skip to the café bc I’m a lazy human**
Louise walked into the homey café where she and Phil almost always had their weekly talks. She ordered and sat down on a couch with her drink, glancing around the semi-crowded shop. She saw an adorable couple across from her cuddling, the two boys seemingly curled into each other. Their faces were hidden, but something about their hair reminded her of Phil and Dan, and she sighed gently, wishing one day her two friends would be like that.
After a few seconds, the brunet boy looked up. Louise’s eyes widened, and she let out a squealing, “Dan?!”
“Oh, hey Louise! Phil, she’s here!” Dan smiled genuinely as he looked over at her, his eyes shining with pure happiness.
Louise looked about to cry, she was so shocked but overjoyed. She wiped her eyes with her thumbs, before running over to hug both boys grinning up at her with such real joy in their eyes. After a few more moments of sniffles and surprised, “Oh!”s from the girl with blond and bubblegum pink hair, Phil took a sip of his drink and pecked the younger boy on the cheek.
“Phil! I can’t- I don’t- oh my god!” Louise managed, squeezing them as tightly as possible, given the very small couch they were piled on. The man in the chair reading his newspaper near them snorted into his hand at their antics.
“So, yeah, hey Lou,” Dan laughed as she looked at them in awe.
“I cannot believe you didn’t tell me as soon as this happened!” She huffed in mock anger.
“You’re the first one we told, and we wanted to at least have some fun with it,” Phil replied happily, unable to keep a smile off of his pale face.
“I’m just so so so happy for you two!” She dropped any air of indignation, and just seemed to fangirl uncontrollably, “Tell me every single detail, I swear if you leave anything out…”
“There isn’t really anything to explain,” Dan replied evenly, “I mean, nothing at all happened during Seven Minutes in Heaven, we were just both way too awkward to make any sort of move. But Phil came back to mine after the party, and we were sort of playing Truth or Dare, and Phil asked who I liked…”
“Then he told me it was, well, me, and I couldn’t say anything for a while. When I found my voice again, I asked if I could kiss him, and yeah. That happened,” Phil added, intertwining his fingers with Dan’s.
“God, you two are just too cute for words!” Louise suppressed yet another screech, causing some glares from nearby tables, but none of them cared. They were all incredibly happy.
Hi! So that happened. Yeah man. I'm not entirely sure where this fic is going anymore. Next chapter will be a time skip like 4 months into the future (yes, smut for y'all) and then the next chapter after that will be more fluff. The last chapter will be the epilogue ^-^
So I'm sad to see this close, but I'm also very excited. I'm thinking about doing another fic, something with Phan (ofc) but maybe something based off of the reality show Dancing with the Stars? Is that something you guys would like to see? Maybe? Possibly? Cool.
Love you allllll,
Tess <3

The Textbook - Phan
FanfictionIt's my first fanfic, I'm sorry in advance. Basically a high school au where Dan and Phil are in different French classes, and the school has a limited budget, so they have to share textbooks with someone in another class. Surprise (you guessed it)...
