Next couple of hours, everyone one by one visits him I stand in the corner watching their heartwarming exchange.

Mom breaks down again holding his hand, it was extremely difficult for both mom and dad as they have to be on feet constantly checking on Vivan and Arjun. Vivan was discharged on the same day, though he was drowning in guilt. Thinking he was the reason for Arjun's condition. Bhai has to lift him in his arms ignoring his protests as Vivan was clearly ruining his health as well.

"You still look ugly while crying," mom cracks a smile playfully swatting his arm. Arjun grasp her hand bringing it to his forehead, sighing before muttering, "Mom..."

She starts sobbing again, peppering his face with kisses as he keeps addressing her mom. Dad wipes his own tears.

Arjun shifts his attention on Dad, extending his hand towards him. "I don't know about Rajvansh giving up or not but your son would never disobey you, Dad."

The three of them breakdown, melting in their embrace together peacefully. Arjun was finally unburdened with his past, with his redemption for his biological mother. Effortlessly, allowing himself to accept the longing love, his true family that were awaiting since years. Deserving each other.

He meets my eyes as his parents shower him with their love, attention- just like he had been craving and to be openly accept them. Smiling at him, I caress my stomach discreetly hoping we'd soon reflect the similar affection to our child, our future.

It's been more than a month that Arjun had been discharged, two days earlier he was announced clearance by doctor. Life was falling into a relaxing routine, Arjun, as expected exceled with his grades. It was one of the proudest moments for me, for our families to see him honoring law.

Advocate Arjun Rajvansh, I screamed the loudest in the ceremony, not giving a dam about feeling embarrassed or continuous snickers directing at me. The moment was so hyped, I hardly could suppress myself.

We had wild get together at the mansion in spite of Vikram tauji's trial in court the atmosphere wasn't gloomy at least not visibly. The elders were unpleased with our family's name being tossed across media. Their behavior turned bitter towards Arjun and me. I could only pity them for still being blinded by their materialistic preferences instead of valuing the true bonding of family.

Dad was completely unfazed giving them ultimatum for compromising with the truth or they were free to separate from us. That immediately shut them up not like they had any choice. Wait, it sounded mean.

In all these ongoing chaos, I still couldn't muster courage to reveal the news to Arjun. Mom was thoroughly worried reassuring me every day as I made her promise to keep it from Arjun. Even Dad, as she accidentally slipped the news to him.

I know I was being selfish, urgh, seriously pending one thing for later would only mountain your difficulties.

Today, at any cost I'd reveal the truth to Arjun. I strongly made up my mind in morning.

It's not like I was doubting him but with his skepticism I sensed all those weeks before, I don't want him to welcome our child only for sake of responsibility and not wholeheartedly celebrating, learning through the parenting journey.

There were many nights, I'd secretly cry feeling guilty for hiding such big news from him. Not anymore. Casually, I pushed the door stepping in our bedroom after tiring my mind with overthinking. My feet screech to halt along with my breath, Arjun was sitting on couch sleeves of his crisp white shirt pulled up, and brows furrowed staring at my report in his hands.
