"You know, these make me wonder how big your expectations are," he suddenly said, shutting the fourth book he'd looked at. "Do you expect me to make you come instantly? Or be as big as a bottle?"
With a little help from a long sip of wine, I just looked at him and raised my brows. He smiled at me, and leaned closer, just as I swallowed and said, "I expect you to do your best to satisfy me."
"That I can promise, princess Elina." His voice was darker, and my body shuddered.
"I haven't done this before." I inwardly cursed myself for saying it so bluntly. "I mean, I have done things, by myself, and I have plenty of toys, I just—"
"You've been locked away from any eligible young man," he finished for me, "until now." For once, I was at a loss for words. He leaned closer, and then he placed a very gentle kiss on my lips. "I don't care. Or, honestly, I want to know more about your toys, and how you use them.."
I kept staring into his brown eyes, especially when he winked at me. "You're unbelievable," I blurted again.
"So I've heard." He laughed, and kissed me again. "We'll have a lifetime to do everything from every book you've read. I don't care if we do it today, or tomorrow, or next year."
"James," I said, straightening myself up so he had to move back, "you can't plan our future like that."
"Why not?"
"Because—" I stopped, waving my arms around, until I ended up sighing, "—I don't know."
The truth was, the future he kept hinting about was tempting. And I liked the thought of it. I also very much liked all his different smiles, and the way he made my whole body flutter with excitement, just by thinking of him.
I had to slow down. I was beginning to sound like him; planning something more than a few dates and getting to know each other. It was insane. It was all insane. I was going insane.
My fingers twitched, and I suddenly felt like I wanted to call Hank.
"Are you okay?" James' hand found my cheek, and my focus was back on him. Some time between my last sentence and now, my vision had blurred.
"This is overwhelming," I whispered.
"I know," he replied, his thumb stroking my cheekbone. "For me too."
He smiled, which made me smile, and then—like magnets—we both leaned in and made our lips meet. It was gentle at first; slow and sweet. Then it turned more greedy as I moved to straddle him, and he pulled me closer, just like the fragments of my memory of us in the VIP-area.
His arms were locked around my lower back this time, and his tongue tasted like the wine I'd sipped on earlier. His lips were demanding and needy, and my hands found his unruly hair like they were meant to be there all along.
My fingers tightened around the strands, tugging slightly, as our kiss deepened. My soul vibrated towards his, my heart stuttering with each half-breath I was able to take. James held me tight, and right then and there, I was ninety percent sure he'd let me go if I said I'd had enough.
I was lost in him. There was no other explanation for why my hands moved from his hair, down to his chest. Or for how my body rocked against his as his flattened hands pushed my ass down. His charming smile, his promises of a good life; it all blurred together into some kind of dream I wanted to chase.
It was probably my hormones. And the wine. And how he so very firmly pushed against me from below.
"How about a tour of the house?" I asked breathlessly, between kisses.
