Kinsey stepped closer to them, but she had noticed the little glance toward an innocent looking Haley.
"Wait!" Kinsey told him "What about the one you took out of my bracelet? The one you said could take you anywhere in the world?"
Bode lowered his eyes sadly. "I lost it"
Tyler frowned, glancing at Haley. "What about Haley? Does she have a key too?"
Bode hesitated. The Book Key didn't seem dangerous. In fact, it seemed that it could help Haley a lot. He didn't want his brother trying to take something that could actually help Haley understand the world around her.
Tyler turned to Haley who wasn't looking at him, but Bode expectantly.
Kinsey scoffed, earning their attention again "You just lost a key that could take you anywhere? You were so excited about it. I don't get how you could've just lost it"
Bode pursed his lips to himself, sad and ashamed by the way he was tricked to give the key away.
Tyler shook his head, still holding the Mirror Key in his hand when he heard a car honking outside. His ride arrived. He glanced toward Haley, sighing. If she had a key, he had to find a way to get her to give it to him. She could get hurt. He didn't want her to get hurt. He had to protect her. Just like he always promised his dad he would.
"Even more reason not to trust him with this one" Tyler said to his sister, referring to Bode losing a key. "That's Javi. If you want a ride, we gotta go"
Bode turned to Haley, "Ride to school with Tyler's friend?"
Haley nodded, standing from the bed, side hugging her little brother and following Tyler who waited for her. She quickly walked to her room, grabbing her coat and shoved her books to her backpack, patting her pocket where she had the Book Key and nodded to herself, nodding at Tyler, walking past him.

Kinsey, Haley and Tyler walked out of the house from the back door.
Kinsey thought back to last night. "What was it like in there?"
"I don't know" Tyler said slowly. "It was... like some kind of fun house from hell"
"I can't believe we're just going to school like nothing insane is going on" Kinsey told him. "Some of the girls back in Seattle used to take mental health days off from school" Tyler waved to Javi, a guy he met on hockey tryouts who was leaning against his car, admiring Key House. "Well, how about a day for processing the fact that we live in a frickin' magical house? I mean, do you think dad knew about the keys?"
The three of them walked closer to Javi.
Tyler stopped walking, turning to face his sisters before they reached the car.
"Please, just shut up about it, okay?" Tyler told Kinsey "People think we're weird enough already. Don't make it worse"
He glanced at Haley who was staring at him in boredom and he knew with one look that she didn't pay attention as to what he was saying. He pursed his lips to himself.
Tyler made the sign for key and then placed his finger on his mouth. Don't talk about the keys.
Haley wouldn't have done so anyway so she rolled her eyes and nodded.
Now, Tyler had to find a way to know what type of key she found and get her to give it to him. But for now, he nodded and walked over to Javi.
Haley and Kinsey looked at each other in annoyance.
"Hey, man" Tyler greeted. "These are my sisters, Kinsey and Haley"
Kinsey and Haley walked over to the car.
