"Ceiling." I answered and grabbed a pen from my bag.

"Are you plan—?" I cut Jisoo off.

"Yes, I'm planning to join the try outs."

"Why? I thought you are not interested."

"Change of heart, I guess." I lied.

I really wanted to say it's because of my dad, but I think they will not accept me since I only joined the team because of my dad.

Rosé accepted my form and told me to fall in line. I walked to the bleachers and dropped my bag on the empty seat.

"Listen up! I want you to do your best and show what you've got. " Jessi shouted and we nodded.

Other applicants are doing some warm up. I tied my hair into a ponytail and also do some warm up.

I cracked some bones and alligned my bangs. I frowned when I saw some students looking at me.

Jessi called us and told us to do service one by one. All the volleyball team members are watching and I can see in my peripheral vision. Seulgi, Jeongyeon, and Jisoo are rooting for me.

This try out is quite scary because one ball will hit you either in the face or the stomach. Jennie is holding a ball and waiting for us to make a mistake.

It's now my turn to do service. I felt Jennie's gaze on me and she was like a burrying holes in my head.

"Limario! Fighting!" I heard Jisoo shouted.

Jessi handed me a ball and I held it properly. I did an underhand serve that made everyone in the court laugh.

They laughed at me because I had just done a beginner's type of service. I can see in my peripheral vision that Jennie is smirking.

"Next!" Jessi yelled out.

I walked over to the opposite side of the court, where we would receive the ball this time. Freshman applicants stole the ball that I was supposed to receive.

I don't think that I will make the team.

I can't believe that Lalisa is also studying here and I can't understand why she is not doing anything. She looks like she is not trying hard enough to get on our team. She looks more lost and confused than ever.

She is really kinda weird and different from us. She knows how to play volleyball and she is naturally good at it.

Until now, I couldn't believe she still received the strong spike from Jennie.

"Where is her application form?" Jennie unnie asked and I showed it to her. "Throw it to the nearest trashbin."

"Why?" I asked.

"She is hopeless."

"I don't think so." Jennie looked at me with one raised eyebrow. "She hasn't shown what she can do."

"It's obvious she is still a beginner." Lisa looked like a lost puppy in court. Jennie unnie shook her head in disbelief.

"Let's wait for the coach's decision." I said that earned an eye roll from her.

Lalisa, prove yourself and don't let my hopes down. I'm rooting for you and I want you to become our teammate.

Coach Jessi gave them a five-minute break, and they will be having a match with us after their break.

I walked towards Lalisa, who was sitting comfortably in her chair. There is no sweat and tired expression in her face. She looked relaxed and chilled out.
