"You should eat it now before it turns cold." Haein said sweetly to her.
I saw hesitation in Jisoo's eyes and knew she was still going to eat it even though she was allergic to it.
"Stay here, Haru." I said to my little brother, and I stooped from my seat.
"Where are you going, Noona?" He asked.
"Somewhere."
I saw Jisoo eating the shirmp, and that made me run towards her direction. I quickly hit her back and put my hand under her mouth. She spat the shirmp in my hand and I handed her a glass of water.
Everyone at the table is looking for me, but I focus my attention on Jisoo.
"Open your mouth." I demanded, but she shook her head. I grabbed her chin and glared at her, which caused her to open her mouth slightly. "Did you eat it? Did you swallow some of it? "
"I didn't." She answered, and I let go of her chin.
"Good to hear then." I said.
She looked down and started fidgeting with her hands. Suddenly, someone cleared her throat, catching my attention.
I looked at them and both parties' families were looking at me.
"I'm sorry for interrupting your peaceful lunch, but I can't help but to, especially when it comes to my best friend's life." They all looked at me in confusion.
Jisoo is afraid of them. She doesn't have the guts to tell them that she is allergic to shrimp, she doesn't want to marry Haein, she is in love with Rosé, and lastly, she is not happy.
"I'm Lisa, Jisoo's top 1 friend in her bestfriends list." I bowed politely at them, then Haein and I made eye contact. "We met again, Haein-shii."
"Yeah, we met again. It's nice to see you doing great, Lisa-shii." He smiled at me, and I reciprocated it with a smile as well.
"Young lady, may I ask why you made my daughter-in-law spit her food?" He is probably Haein's father.
"I don't want to be rude, but all of you here are selfish, including the siblings of Jisoo, since they also don't know anything about Jisoo." They all looked offended, especially Jisoo's parents.
"What made you say we are selfish?" Jisoo's father asked.
"Does anyone of you know Jisoo's favorite color?" I asked them which made them confused.
"Black." Jisoo's mom tried to guess, but she was definitely wrong.
"Wrong. Does anyone of you know Jisoo's unnie and oppa's hobbies? " I asked and looked at them one by one.
"Golf and chess?" Jisoo's mom tried to guess once again, and I looked at Jisoo's siblings like I was asking them if their mom was right.
"Could you tell me your hobbies, Mr. Kim and Ms. Kim?" I asked Jisoo's siblings. "Only the truth, please, no showbiz answers."
"I like playing games till 4 am."
"My hobby is partying with my friends."
They answered with full honesty, which made me smile.
"Thank you for answering honestly." They both nodded.
"Why do you keep asking us questions? What are you trying to say?" Haein's father asked.
"I'm proving that anyone here doesn't know any shit about Jisoo and her siblings. And I believe that you didn't know your son that much as well." I said and took a breath to calm myself. Suddenly, I felt someone touch my hand, and it was Jisoo.
