C19: Keep Everything Inside

She is trying to stop me from talking, but I will not because I don't want to see her like this and I don't want her to keep lying to them, especially to herself, that she is happy even though she is not.

"It's none of your business and they didn't know us that much either." Jisoo's father's response was to loosen his neck tie a bit.

"Tell me, Jisoo, What is your father's favorite neck tie?" I looked at Jisoo, waiting for her answer. I hold her hand tightly and I hope she knows the answer.

I heard her father chuckle.

"See? She doesn't know. " With a smirk on his face, he said. "Get the hell out of here, young lady, before I call the guards to kick you out."

"Jisoo, tell me his favorite neck tie." I repeated, but she just stared at her lap.

"She doesn't know, so stop and get out." "Her father said, in a serious tone.

"Jisoo unnie, please tell me. Prove to them that you are not a self-centered person like them, like your parents." I pleaded, and she slowly let go of my hand, but I held it. "Tell me, Jisoo, unnie. Don't make your dongsaeng disappointed in you."

She didn't answer. I let go of her hand and sighed deeply.

"I only want the best for you. I'm your best friend and I'm on your side." I said to her and inverted my gaze at the people with her. It's nice to meet all of you. I'm going ahead now.

Before I even took a step, I heard Jisoo's voice.

"The maroon one with little dots of white on it, he only wears it when something good and big happens." Jisoo Unnie spoke up, which made me look at her. She was looking directly at her father. 'Don't you dare to tell me it was wrong because I heard you talking to Mr. Jung about the reason why you only wear that tie at deal celebrations.

She put her table napkin on the table and stood up from her seat.

"I'm going ahead now. I need to go to the hospital to make sure that I didn't eat shrimp because I'm allergic to it and I might have an allergic reaction if I ate it." She looked at me with a smile on her face.

This time, her smile reached her eyes. It's her real smile. I'm happy she still has that and didn't lose it.

"Let's go, Lisa." She grabbed my wrist and we exited the restaurant.

As soon as we made it outside, she sighed in relief, like she had escaped hell. I stared at her and looked around.

"What are you looking for?" She asked.

"Did you bring your car?: She nodded and showed me her car keys. I grab it from her hand and open the door for her, then I ride in the driver's seat without waiting for her to get inside the car.

I waited for her to wear the seatbelt before I drove.

"I didn't know you had a driver's license since you are always taking a bus or train." She said as she rolled down the window.

"Yeah, it's actually expired. I haven't renewed it." I made a left turn smoothly.

"When are you planning to renew it?" She asked without looking at me, but she suddenly snapped her head at me. "Your license has expired?"

"Yup." I said while popping the letter p.

"The fuck! If the police caught us, you will be paying the fine! " She raised her tone and looked at the side mirror, checking if there were police around.

"Just stay quiet and don't shout that my license has expired." I stopped in front of a convenience store.

I got into the car and left her alone inside. I quickly grabbed some stuff in the store and ran back to the car.

"What did you buy?" She inquired as I rummaged through the plastic bag.

I brought out a make-up remover and put some on the cotton pad. I harshly removed her make-up, making her complain.

"Yah! It hurts, dimwit! " She slapped my hands and I threw the used cotton pad at her.

"Remove it. I know you're wearing make-up but not this heavy." I threw the make-up remover in her lap.

"You should remove my make-up gently, not this hard. I thought you were planning to erase my face. " She shook her head in disbelief.

She brought down the sun visor and a printed photo fell onto the car floor. It's a stolen shot of Rosé.

"You are not really in love with her that much, huh?" I started driving and she reached for the photo.

"Not really." She said, which made us both chuckle.

I drove to the nearest hospital and accompanied her till we arrived at the nurse's desk.

"You can go now, Limario. I'll be fine alone." She said, and I nodded. "Car key, I don't want my car to get a fine ticket."

I gave her the car key and left the hospital.

All of a sudden, I felt my phone vibrate. I opened it and received a text from someone unknown.

What's wrong with this girl? Why did she suddenly want me to fetch her?
