"Hh I see. Sure I'll give you Evans email. Hell I'll even help you write one. Since I know Evan better than you do."

"Well shit, thanks Kleinman."

"Yea no problem."

Jared gave Connor Evan's email. Connor quickly opened up a new draft to send to said boy.

"Alright Kleinman, I have the draft open are you gonna help me?"

"Fuck yea dude. Here I'll tell you what to write and you just copy it down ok?"

"K."

"Dear Evan Hansen we've been way too out of touch."

"Ok,'

"Things have been crazy, and it sucks that we don't talk that much."

"Alrighty" Connor said, copying down the sentence.

"But I should tell you that i think of you each night,"

"Ok..."

Connor heard Jared stifle a laugh before the next line.

"I rub my nipples and start moaning with delight."

Connor started writing before he actually realized what Jared had said. He quickly deleted the segment.

"Why would you say that??!" Connor said angrily into his phone.

Jared laughed, "I'm just trying to tell the truth."

"This has to be perfect! This email needs to show Evan that i want to be friends, just Ill do it!"

"Sure sure, but you do have a crush on Evan right?"

Connor's face went red. He did have a crush on Evan but, like he'd tell Jared that.

"No. What makes you say that?"

"Dude, from what you told me, you've wanted to be friends with Evan for years. If they were just platonic feelings you would've given up already." Jared said simply. For some reason he didn't really mind the idea of Connor crushing on Evan.

"Whatever. Just tell me if what I say sounds good, okay?"

Jared laughed again, "okayyy."

Connor sighed, and continued writing the email, telling Jared what he was writing.

"I gotta tell you life without you has been hard."

"Hard?"

"Has been bad."

"Bad??"

"Has been rough!"

"Kinky!"

Connor almost laughed at that remark, but he kept his cool. This was about Evan, not Jared.

"And I miss talking about life and,, doing drugs?"

"Seriously?"

"I dont fucking know!!"

Jared laughed and Connor returned to his computer screen.

"I like my parents."

"Who says that??"

"I love my parents! But each day's another fight." Connor waited for Jared to say something in disapproval, when he didn't, Connor smiled slightly and continued,

"But If we were friends, well then everything might be alright."

"Dude thats so fucking cheesy."
