"W-what is this, Hyunsung-ssi?" Jung Jinho asked while exerting his power all his might so he won't be cut down. But his body almost lost balance when Kim Hyunsung abruptly pulled his sword and put it back in his waist.

"I just want to know how strong you are"

A simple answer, with no expression. But from Jung Jinho's crumpled face, it's obvious that he is annoyed, but also afraid since he has just taste Kim Hyunsung's strength first hand.

Suddenly, Kim Hyunsung looked at me who is already few steps away behind Park Deokgu.

"Sorry my hand slipped"

'Huh? You slipped your hands? Even a kid won't believe you! And hey, I can hear you say different things to Jung Jinho!'

"Uh, really? O-okay then" I still act a little bit afraid, but I exhale a heavy sigh. "I hope you be more careful, Hyunsung-ssi. I'm worried what if you slipped you hands when you fight a monster"

I smiled at Hyunsung. But then I can see him avoiding eye contact with me.

"I'll be careful"

Then he obviously turned away from me.

Is he sulking now? Really? Wow. I'm speechless. Also, this grown up regressor is annoyed, so he draws his sword at a person?

Something is definitely weird. So I cautiously checked Hyunsung's condition with Mind's Eye, worrying if maybe he's influenced by something dark or something worse, like corrupted. Not that I have a solution, but at least we would know we have a problem then.

I nodded my head. I wasn't wrong. I can definitely lead my life successfully if I'm leeching him off. When I almost looked back at Hyunsung and Jung Jinho, I caught something weird in our Tsun Regressor's Status Window.

Quite abruptly, I remember something I did yesterday. I looked at Kim Hyunsung, then at the deformed corpses of monsters, his status window, then back again at Kim Hyunsung.

P.s: This is why you don't make a solution that is more complicated than the problem itself 🤣

P.s.s: I feel like I have to explain this since I thought Jung Jinho's attitude is a bit different. This is a bit long though.

I thought that Jung Jinho doesn't attack Kiyoung the gang immediately because he's outnumbered, and also seeing Deokgu and Hayan who has been fighting monsters constantly and grow more than the 2nd timeline (Since they don't stay at the shelter, they have to fight monster more frequently) Jung Jinho's intuition said that they're strong enough that he won't be able to kill them instantly when he's only with Jaejoon. Remember in the 2nd timeline when Jinho immediately doesn't want to be hostile to Kim Hyunsung because of his intuition?

At the very same reason, Kiyoung know the now grown Hayan can immediately attack without much time building magic tower so he doesn't have to build one too, as it would make Jinho notice and be more hostile. He feels like he have to act weak so Jinho would think Kiyoung's group is not 'A strong enemy I have to attack and kill immediately after Kichul is back' but instead it would be 'A group with similiar strength to his party but with a weak-looking leader, but they have items so it might be dangerous to confront them'

As they talk and more over with the Hyunsung incident, he realized that Kiyoung isn't the weak-looking guy he thought he was. He thought Kiyoung's a hypocrite and competent MF with brain and is the one he's been searching for to be the head of a Brigade he's going to make, just like the 1st timeline.

He made a great decision since Kiyoung have his ✨ Shadow Bodyguard ✨ 😳
