I never had a chance anyways.
Let's just hope he kills me quickly. It's the least I deserve.
He's still making his way over to me which gives me a little more time to think before the inevitable.
I think about my brothers and dad. They were my everything and even though I haven't done much with them lately I always thought I would have more time to spend with them. I'm just glad I got to hug them all one last time.
I hope they know how much I loved them. I hope they don't hurt themselves like they did last time.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk, oh hunny, you shouldn't have run." Anthony laughs at my weak body.
"Wouldn't- have mattered. They're going to... kill you." I say coughing in between my words. My leg is on fire and it is moving all over my body. I taste metal in my mouth but I try and ignore it.
"At least you're going first." He chuckles. "You ruined everything, my life, your mothers life, your brothers life, you are worthless, weak, and pathetic. You are not a King. Your brothers will be better off with out you."
"Just kill me already Anthony." I hiss. The pain is turning unimaginable and I don't know how much longer I can stay awake with the searing hot pain spreading through my right leg.
"Why would I do that doll?" He crouches down and starts moving my hair out of my face. "Well look at you. Bleeding out in a daisy field, did you know the flower daisy resembles innocence? Ha! There is nothing innocent about you my doll. Daisy the 'innocent' murderer. You are going to die a murderer, in a daisy field by yourself surrounded by 'innocence' It's classic!" He taunts me which makes me want to cry even more.
"I know." I whisper so quietly he had a hard time hearing.
"Sorry doll I couldn't quite catch that." He says with his sinister smirk. I make the motion of getting closer.
If I'm going to die so will he.
I grip my gun and wait until he put his ear right above my mouth. "Rot in hell." I grumble before pulling the trigger on my gun hitting the side of his neck. At the same time as I pull my trigger one more shot rings through the air.
After the second shot the pain that is still in my leg I also felt in my abdomen.
He shot me in the stomach.
In shock he grabs the side of his neck where blood is gushing. We look at each other as we both bleed out.
"DAISY!" I hear someone's voice scream across the field. I don't break eye contact with Anthony though.
Staring at him I watch as he finally drops to the ground and his body relaxes. He's dead.
I look up at the sun which is now setting in the distance. A soft pink and orange sky mixes in with the clouds. It's so beautiful I could almost paint it.
My throat feels clogged and the taste of metallic blood creeps up through my throat as I feel my own blood drip down my chin.
"Daisy!" The voice seems closer. Looking up I see my brother Xander. He looks shocked and indifferent to what he's seeing. He drops down to his knees as he puts pressure on my wound.
"X-an-der." I gurgle out. The blood not helping much with my English.
"HELP! HELP!" He screams towards the house. "Baby I need you to stay with me, everything is going to be okay. Daisy baby, stay awake!"
It's hard though. My body is so tired.
"You stay awake! Don't you dare close your eyes! Please don't leave me, open your eyes Daisy!" He yells crying.
