I was standing in front of my locker in a daze, I was just thinking. I was thinking about a lot of things. For example Elliot, he was in my head too much these days and I don't exactly like that at all. It's bothering me a lot, almost like a little fly buzzing around my head.

"Looks who's back." I rolled my eyes and I glanced to the side to see Veronica standing next to me.

"Wow first day back and I'm hearing voices." I said looking past her. She scoffed and poked my shoulder.

"You think I haven't thought about getting you back Cassie." She threatened.

I put on a fake terrified face and clasped my hands together. Oh what the great Veronica could possibly do to scare me? I'm itching to know what kind of revenge she is plotting now. I closed my locker and smiled at her.

"Well what is it that could shiver my timbers?" I cocked an eyebrow.

"I've been in contact with an old friend of mines. He's a very special person actually, he's actually moving back here." Veronica had this evil glint in her eyes and I just shrugged my shoulder.

"Oh tell him I said hello, I have to go now since class is starting." I waved at her lazily and started to walk away from her.

"I'll tell Ace you said hello then." I stopped dead in my tracks and faced her. She had a smirk on her face.

I walked back towards her and read her expression. I can't tell if she's kidding or not. However if that person I do have to take the very serious. I was inches away from her face and gave her a deadly look.

"Pulled a nerve?" She smirked.

"Why is he back? He's not allowed on my father's land?" I asked her.

"Elliot's father allowed him to enter our pack. Is there problem with that?" Veronica chuckled evilly.

I let out a little sarcastic laugh and dusted both of her shoulders. She had a smile that look like she won a million bucks. My hands clenched her shoulders and she wince din pain. I can just feel the manic smile developing on my lips.

"You got me there, I'm not going to lie. I was a bit shaken, however I won't let it happen again ok Veronica." I spoke monotonously and I saw fear in her eyes. I let go of her shoulder and turned on my heels.

I just kept walking, I needed to cool my head off. Everything will be fine, if Elliot's father allowed him in his pack that means he had changed. I mean people can grow right? People can change from when they were 13 to now. Anything is possible. I wasn't paying attention to where I was walking and I ran into someone.

"Cassie! Hey what's wrong?!" Elliot waved his hand in front of me and I came back to my sense.

"What? Oh nothing's wrong." I spoke mindlessly.

Should I tell him about Ace? I mean it should be fine, like I said Elliot's father allowed him in the pack so it should be ok. No I should tell him about it just incase.

"Who's Ace?" I looked up at him in shock. Elliot had a serious face, how does he know about Ace?

"How do I know, it's because I'm reading your mind right now. We are still mates after all I can hear your thoughts. I just blocked off yours until now." Elliot explained. I clenched my fist and blocked him off from reading my thoughts.

"He's no one you need to be concerned with." I said firmly.

"Well he's obviously someone if he can make you so shaken and quite frankly you're never shaken." He said softly.

"It really isn't nothing I swear." I said and try walking past him. He grabbed onto my arm stopping me and I glared up at him.

"Just tell me Cassie." Elliot said.

"It's nothing ok! Juts let me go." I pulled my arm back and he look like he was about to reach out towards me. He stopped himself and he nodded his head.

"I'm just trying to help that's all." He muttered. Now I felt bad because I was being an absolute ass right now.

"I'm sorry just give me some time ok. I just need to think, I'm fine." I lied and he didn't look like believed it at all.

Before he can even say anything I walked away. I need to find Toby and Jay, I have to talk to them about this. I started to piece things together now, the hunter situation and now Ace is here. Something is not right, it's too much of a coincidence right now. I grabbed my phone ready to send them a text message. My heart stopped momentarily when I saw an incoming call from Toby. I answered and I heard Jay yelling in the background.

"Why the fuck is Ace back?!" Toby snapped.

My hand clenched the phone in my hands nearly breaking it. So he's really back, and sooner that I actually thought.

"Cassie? Hey Cassie? Talk to me?" Toby asked worriedly.

"What do I do? What do I do? Fuck! What do I do?!" I snapped.
