After the kids dressed, they all came outside to eat their breakfast in the living room. The people in the living room were stunned by the appearance of the kids. 'Now why in the hell does this look like a funeral? It's supposed to be the kid's first day of school!' Thought Tang Shushui as he sat down to eat his breakfast.
Soon the kids and Tang Shushui, and Haohao finished their breakfast and went inside their rooms to change since they would bring the kids to school. Their husbands would go set up their stall for them. Tang Shushui wore a purple-ish grey hanfu with simple flower embroideries and Haohao wore a light blue one with simple patterns. They were all made by Tang Shushui, and he's currently making second sets for Song Shi's marriage just to piss him off. He also has to make some for the elders.

Their clothes were all women's clothing since gers were considered as female, though you could wear men's clothing it would cause a ton of questions to arise and he doesn't want any problems. He put on some moisturizer and a little bit of sunscreen and then he added lip balm. He also gave some to Haohao. Now they were ready to go.
When they opened the door they saw almost half the village's women and gers in front of their door, and Tand Chan An was the one leading the pack.
"Can somebody please tell me what is going on?" Asked Tang Shushui clearly confused.
"Good morning gege! You know most of the village's kids are unable to afford the high tuition for school so they always see off the kids that go. I was going to bring my cousins but then I remembered that the Jiangs were also sending their kids to school so I came to get you." He said in a manner not to humiliate the poor villagers and for me to be unable to blame him.
"Oh is that so? Then I thank you for your kindness. I thought since we weren't brothers anymore we wouldn't have anything to do with me anymore, but for you to come all the way here to come get me. I thank you for that." I said as I fully opened the door to see many shocked faces staring at my outfit.
"Honey! The kids are ready." Cried Jiang Yanwei from inside the living room completely unaware of the people in front of the door.
"Okay Husband tell Haohao to bring them out," I cried back from outside causing even more shock for the melon-eating crowd.
Tang Chan An's face twisted when he heard the dialect between the husband and wife but soon returned to normal, but Tang Shushui caught everything.
'Is this bitch crazy? How dare he have eyes for my man?' Thought Tang Shushui with murderous intent but his face remained gentle.
"Gege, even though we're not family anymore you could still borrow clothes from my little cousins for the kids you know? It's their first they after school after all." He said with a worried expression. And the little Tang brat's faces immediately formed sneers. Everybody looked at Tang Shushui's new clothes and thought about the rags that the kids wear.
'I didn't think he would be that cruel.' Said a person from the crowd.
'I heard rumors of how selfish he was and I guess it was true.'Echoed another one.
And soon the crowd was full with whispers, they all scorned him and talked down on him but his face never once changed.
"Mommy we're ready." Liu Qiu said in a milky voice which attracted the crowd's attention, then everything went silent. Then the rest of the kids came out one by one each with a brand new hanfu. This was like a slap to the villagers that were talking.
"I didn't ask for help because I didn't need any, but how you're talking is like I should need your help Tang Chang An?" Responded Tang Shushui with a sweet voice.
