"Jeez Orla what the hell!" Wrecker yelled, scared out of his skin.
"You're welcome," she took a bow and blew a strand of hair out of her face while returning to Hera and Omega. Hera wide-eyed, watch Orla rerun her lightsaber hilt to her belt.
"You're a Jedi?"
Orla nodded, "I'm sure the Empire knows we're here, we better keep moving."
They returned to Hera's base to check over the situation. Here is distressed about her father and the Empire, Tech comes out with bad news that there are more patrols now that the Empire knows they're here. Hunter thinks that because the element of surprise is gone, they can't do anything but still offers to take Hera off-world to somewhere safe.
"Stop! I'll pay you double," Hera pleaded.
"All the money in the galaxy won't matter if we're dead, what you're asking us to do is not worth the risk."
"Not to you," Hera stormed off.
"Hunter," Orla tried to reason but decided not to bother and goes after Hera instead. Orla doesn't see Omega following her until she reached Hera.
"Hunter means well, don't give up, he'll come around," Omega tried to stay optimistic.
"Why do you trust him so much?"
"Because he's my brother, they all are."
"Brother," she's surprised, "are you related to them too?" Hera asks Orla but shakes her head.
"No, but I had... I have a brother. He's around your age and he also gets himself in a lot of trouble," she teased which manged a laugh out of Hera.
"What's his name?"
"Caleb, he was a Jedi too and a pretty good one if I do say so myself," Orla conducted the topic back to Hunter, "I'm sure if we think of a plan, we could convince Hunter."
"Can't you just make him listen, I thought Jedi outranked the clones?" Hera asked and Orla laughed to herself.
"Well we're not in a war anymore and I'm not a part of their squad so we're gonna have to work together on this one."
"It's strategic, Ryloth is your home, you know it better than us," Omega added on and this convinced Hera
☆☆☆
Omega, Hera and Orla were able to come up with a decent enough plan that could convince Hunter and the rest of the group. The plan was to attack the imperial refinery on the outskirts drawing reinforcements away while the other team rescues her parents. Hera assures she knows the Empire's routine and can predict their next moves. She goes on about the unmanned cannons and that Chopper can slip in unnoticed and disable them, hoping it's enough to convince them.
"Alright, you two go with Chopper as backup, but at a distance," Hunter tells Hera and Omega, "Tech, Wrecker, wait until those cannons are down and move in. Echo, Orla and I will scale the capital wall and free Hera's parents. I guess we'll follow your lead," Hunter gave an approving nod to Hera and they get started.
Hunter, Echo and Orla climb the walls of the capital. With Orla being a Jedi, she had the strength and stamina to reach the top before Hunter and Echo had even reached halfway and she took out two of the troopers guarding with her kyber knife. For a moment Echo felt like he was back on his last mission on the citadel, trying his best to keep up with Anakin Skywalker. He always had an appreciation for the Jedi and how well they played their roles as generals. Even her grip on his hand reminded him somewhat of Anakin, helping him up and over the citadel walls. However, he needed to snap out of it and take off to find Hera's parents.
