"Then I'll say this as simple as I can," your mother says with a gentle smile as she takes a few steps towards the mayor which cause the bodyguards to take steps forward by the Mayor raise his hand to signal them to not do anything.

"My sister-in-law is a doctor and she's a fantastic doctor," your mother informs him proudly which your aunt being there, "She has the reports and we have evidence of parent negligence," your mother tells him which cause him to raise his jaw a little as if he's looking down on her.

"I'm sorry, what I'm confuse. Who are you?" the Mayor ask which made your mother chuckle.

"I'm someone that can take down everything you build, Mayor-San," your mother threats with a smile, "I know perfectly how the media works. The rumours that can be created while using the right vocabulary. So here's the thing," your mother gets closer to him which cause his second wife to watch to tell your mother to back off but as soon as your mother looked at her, the Mayor's second wife looks the other way in fear.

Your mother smirk and looks back at the Mayor, "Go anywhere near my family or the friends of my children and that means your own kids, I will expose you. I know your secrets. I know how politics works and I know how to use it to my advantage..." your mother's eyes go dark, "Go anywhere near your daughter or if I so hear how you blame her for what happened to her, everything will be out in the open and I swear you'll never be able to get back into politics or be able to get any fucking job," your mother grabs his tie and tighten it just a little which cause him to looks at her with fear.

"What do you want?" the Mayor ask your mother, "Mrs. (Your Last Name)," he adds which made your mother smile a little brighter.

"I want you to find those men that hurt your dear daughter and deal with them because you love your daughter, don't you?" your mother ask him and he nods, "Great. And remember. my daughters go to school with your son so any bruises they see on him, I'll know. And my sister-in-law better be receiving her payment for giving your daughter the best treatment, I'll find out if you don't. Now you're going to smile, wave at your children and get off the school grounds and head back to the shit-hole you live or less I'll cause a scene and you wouldn't want that," your mother says with a smile.

She fix his tie with friendly smile and then give him a light tap on the shoulder. The Mayor forces a smiles, "Well, I should be going. It's nice meeting you all," he looks at his son, "You've made great friends," he looks at his daughter, "And I'm glad to see you back but now I need to head back to the office. There's paperwork to get done. Good day," he then leaves.

"Are you trying to make me jealous?" your father ask his wife as he place his hand on her waist and lean in to give her a peck on her cheek. Your mother chuckle.

"How are you feeling?" you ask Akina who looks at you as she takes a deep breath which is notable. She avoids eye contact and rub her arm.

"Sick," she admits.

"You were strong, you know," you says which confused her and cause her to look at you as she's curious by what you meant by that, "You were able to watch through the whole thing. Even though they didn't show, we both knew what was going on. I had to leave the room but you stayed," you remind her.

"I'm still terrified and the memory of it makes me sick to the core but..." Akina close her eyes softly and remember the times her brother would sit next to her while keeping a distance and telling her many stories to distract her from the bad thoughts. He would even sneak in the hospital and spend the night with her so that she doesn't feel lonely or scared. "I know there's someone that going to be there to protect me."
