You're Unpredictable ?| [KAIHUN]

※Chapter Eight

He replied with a slight nod and smiled. 

Sehun's eyes shifted to the other side where Kai was sitting and his eyes automatically changed. "What are you still doing here? Do you need me to shower you too?."

He sarcastically asked which earned a quick reaction from the person he was asking.

Kai scuttled away to his own room afterwards which left Chanyeol standing in the room, stunned to even utter any reactions.

"Hyung, do you want anything? I will get it for you," Sehun said after.

The elder shook his head. "It's fine, I will get it myself," he replied, still in confusion about the whole situation.

"Why....is Kai so scared of you? ," he unsurely asked. 

Sehun frowned when he heard that. "No, he's not," he replied. "Maybe he is just tired. You said it yourself that his schedule is packed these few weeks."

Although he was not quite satisfied with that answer, he only nodded. 

"Maybe you are right.."

"I will be in the kitchen preparing for Kai's lunch if you need me, Hyung," he stated and made his way towards the kitchen. 

Chanyeol sighed, there is for sure something happening between these two but he could not seem to figure it out yet.

Sehun was glancing at the clock on the wall for the recent times. He had been sighing for the thousand times and he had no idea why he would do this.

"Why am I still waiting for that jerk?," he asked himself. 

Silence was the only thing answering him at that time. "Who cares about him?," he grunted before standing up from the sofa.

But the sounds of the door opening stopped his legs from stepping any further. He slowly turned around to see Kai entering the house with his tired face.

Kai lifted his head when he could sense the presence of someone else near him. "Sehun, you're still awake?," he was not expecting him to still be awake at this time.

He could not lie to himself that a part of him felt touched by that. He felt warm feelings crept up into his heart and he could not possibly describe what feeling was that.

Sehun was flustered when he was asked that he only replied with a hum. He turned to look away while crossing his arms on his chest.

"I-I just went down to get a drink," he replied.

Kai chuckled to himself when he heard the answer. He stepped forwards and slumped his body on the sofa. 

A small smile curled up on his face, he knew Sehun had been lying about not waiting for him and that made him to say least...glad?

Heavy and tired sigh escaped his lips afterwards with his head resting on the sofa. It was tiring and he had to deal with this every single days.

"Tired?," he raised up his head and made eye contacts with the latter. 

Sehun awkwardly shifted his glances elsewhere. "Yeah, it was non stop. Tomorrow I need to be there early," he answered.

Sehun huffed in silence before he walked away from there, leaving Kai alone in the living room.

Kai sighed. He felt upset? Why would he feel that? What was he expecting for Sehun to do then.

"Hm," he opened his heavy eyes to see a glass of hot drinks right in front of his eyes. He slowly reached for it while looking at Sehun.

"Thanks," he muttered while sipping the drink. Truly, he felt a lot better afterwards.

"Finish it slowly then rest. You still need to take care of yourself, I know you are busy but still your health is important," Sehun uttered.

Kai looked up at him with a smile, nodding to him. "Thank you. I didn't know you care this much about me," he flashed a flirtatious smile afterwards.

Sehun grunted in annoyance while rolling his eyes. "I just didn't want you to die. How else am I supposed to get money?," he retorted.

He was going to leave if Kai didn't stop him beforehand. Kai grabbed his wrist before the latter could go.

"Can I talk to you?," he carefully questioned. 

Sehun furrowed his eyebrows, he felt like he could guess where this was going. "What do you want to talk about?," but he still asked.

Kai was not sure how to word this but he need to figure out. "You know it better," he responded before he was given a nod from the latter.
