one | the gravity falls theme song!

Start from the beginning

As if on cue, the elevator doors opened, and Juliet and Peter quickly slipped into the elevator, both knowing they had to shut the doors fast. Juliet quickly pressed the "main lobby" button, glaring at her uncle as he neared the elevator. "He can kiss my ass."

"Don't you dare let those doors close—"

And with that, the elevator doors shut, and the elevator began to move down.

Juliet let out a sigh of relief,  annoyance and slight embarrassment, before looking down at the nutrition bar in her hands.

"Guess who just finished Gravity Falls for the eleventh time." Peter smiled, gripping his backpack straps. Peter was used to Juliet's uncle, and knew the reason why she acted the way she did with him. He never bothered to ask Jules about it—he understood, and she was thankful for that.

Juliet's blue eyes widened, looking over at the brunette boy with a smile. "Dude!"

Giggles escaped Peter's lips as the girl looked over at him with bewilderment.

"Peter—eleven times?!"

"Oh, yeah, the theme song is genius." Juliet smiled, before turning back to the lock on her locker and twisting the combination.

"Oh, it's so great!" Peter grinned, twisting the combination into the lock of his locker, which sat straight next to Juliet's.

"But, the WeirdMageddon's!" Juliet added, opening her locker door and beginning to reach into it.

"Oh my gosh, that one is..." Peter trailed off, nodding in agreement.

"So great!" Juliet spoke.

That was just one of the things that Peter and Juliet had in common— they were both fans of the Disney show Gravity Falls, and both usually spent time watching it and talking about it together.

"Join me, and together, we'll build the new Lego Death Star!"

Juliet turned, smiling at the sight of her other and last best friend, Ned Leeds, holding a Lego piece up to Peter's shoulder.

"What?!" Peter spoke, his eyes widening at the Lego figurine in the boy's hand. "No way, that's so cool! How many pieces?"

"Ned, that voice was so gross."

"Three-thousand eight hundred and three, and," Ned spoke facing Peter, then faced Juliet, "I think I did a pretty good imitation, if I do say so, myself, Juliet." Ned grinned, lifting his hands in the air.

"Three thousand and— eight hundred pieces." Juliet spoke in bewilderment.

"I know!" Ned excitedly squealed, making Juliet chuckle. "Wanna build it tonight?" He spoke, a hopeful smile on his innocent face as he stared at his friends.

"Is that even a question?" Juliet grinned.

"Can't."

Juliet and Ned both turned to look at Peter.

Peter pursed his lips together. "I can't tonight, I've got the Stark—"

"Mm hmm. The Stark Internship." Ned interrupted, nodding in understanding as he watched Peter shut his locker.

"Yeah, exactly." Peter nodded, looking over at Juliet, who had shut her locker door and began to hold her books in her arms, trying not to drop them as she began opening her nutrition bar wrapper.
