76. Not your fault

"Can I get a picture?"

The paparazzi guy got in front of you and started recording.

After squeezing through people to walk, Vinnie interlocked his fingers with yours to keep you close to him.

You both tried to look as pleasant as possible, Vinnie even making small talk with people.

His car was only a few feet away and he pulled his keys out of his pocket. Most of the people there took videos and pictures from afar but there were a couple that came up to him for a selfie. And somehow, the crowd had doubled since when you first saw them from inside.

Vinnie opened the car door for you then walked around to the driver's side. Still, girls tried to get a picture, tell him stuff, one girl even gave him a keychain as a little gift.

He was obviously trying to leave but he couldn't even close the door as their bodies were in the way and they were lowkey sticking their heads in the car . Not wanting to be rude, he just had to be patient.

"Guys, we gotta get going It was nice seeing you though." he told them.

"Okay, goodnight!"

"Sorry Vinnie!"

"But I didn't get a picture." you overheard one girl tell her mom.

Your heart was pounding as you've never been in a situation like that before. Vinnie rubbed your thigh. And the paparazzi guy stood in front of the car, still filming, trying to get footage of you and Vinnie in the car. Probably because the windshield was tinted and he couldn't see that well. He didn't move until he heard the start of the car engine.

Not wanting to go home yet, Vinnie opted to go to the warehouse where they kept the cars and just chill there for a little bit. The ride there was silent, as neither of you knew how to bring up what happened.

Of course he liked meeting fans, but sometimes they can't read the room or recognize boundaries.

About halfway there, a weird noise came from the back of the car and it wasn't running smoothly.

"Oh shit." Vinnie exclaimed, looking in the rear view mirror and pulling onto the shoulder.

"What was that?" You asked with a concerned expression.

"I think something with the tire. Let me go see." He parked and got out. You sat and waited until he came back.

He was out on the side of the road longer than you expected him to be and started to get a little worried. Doing your best to look out the window, you saw him on the phone. You would've gotten out to see if you could help but it was getting cold outside and Vinnie looked frustrated.

When he came back, he let out an exasperated sigh and put his hands on his forehead.

"So I had to call Triple A because......fuck dude. My tire is literally halfway off its rim right now. Well, I mean I put it back on for now but I have to go to American tires to basically replace all my tires because the guy put some cheap ass ones on. And I know those motherfuckers are going to give me a hard time and be like, 'You need new rims, you need new this, you need new that.' Like...I just want some fucking tires. I don't wanna have to fucking deal with that. But anyways, I'm sorry for being late for picking you up tonight. I'm sorry for what happened at the restaurant. Still pissed at that. Tonight sucked and I feel awful."

You listened to him ramble and felt bad.

"Nothing that happened was your fault." You told him.

He was about to say something but you stopped him.

"Shit happens. I know that. But please don't blame yourself."

"So you're not annoyed with me?"

"To be honest, yeah the circumstances are annoying but no, I'm not annoyed with you. I liked being with you tonight. And I'm wanna go out with you again."

Note: I hate this ending omfg

But anyways...thoughts on the show?

Vinnie talking about pussy stunting was so funny.

Ryland eating pizza and watching Ratatouille while not knowing what was going on outside was a mood.

I didn't like how Alex was about to buy a whole car because he "was bored". Didn't like how some of them wouldn't make a 30 second video knowing it would make them $80,000. I mean come on now.

In my opinion tho, the show wasn't really that interesting. I only watched it for Vinnie and Larray because I only like them, but just because they were in it doesn't mean I give the show a 10/10. We been knew about a lot of the stuff that went down anyway.

I'm not rewatching it's and they better not get a season 2.
